  1. Yeah it really is weird. I was under the impression that it would be just one license for both but doing research found out otherwise. Thank U.
  2. Just take a deep breath. I can feel how torn u are about this incident. When we make mistakes the most important thing is to learn from them. I can tell that you will never make this mistake again. This incident will help to make u a better nurse than u already are. :)
  3. i recently passed the boards in n.y. and plan to move to maryland this summer. i know i need to get my license endorsed but i'm not sure if i should do so in maryland or d.c. could someone please tell me what hospitals are good in maryland and if given a choice would u rather work in md. or d.c? what are the pros and cons? i just need some advice so that i can make an informed decision. thanks kaco

I too failed once and used NCSBN to pass the second time. I think its worth it to check it out. I felt very familiar with the NCLEX style questions when I was done with the 3wk review.

  6. The format and style of questions from learningext.com do follow those of NCLEX. The review is really as close as u can possibly get to NCLEX. I wish I had tried NCSBN sooner.
  7. MissKitty, You are NOT incompetent!! You are very smart and it will happen for u.
  8. The NCSBN's website has questions that are actually like the ones on NCLEX. www.learningext.com however u do have to pay for the review and the shortest one is for 3wks. I just passed NCLEX after my second try and I've been out of school for almost a yr and found this to be most helpful for me.
  9. I found out my results today and I was sooo nervous for the whole time. I cried after the test on my way home, when I got home, the day after the test and finally........when I got the good news that I was officially a R.N. Good Luck to all of You!!!
  10. Hey hopeless, I used Saunders for a week and then studied with the NCSBN website (www.learningext.com) for three weeks doing about six hours or more a day. I did 4 hours a day on the weekends and took about 3 full days to recuperate and not drive myself crazy . Hope this is helpful. Oh by the way on the website u can choose to do the course for 6wks or more it all depends on u. Good Luck!!
  11. good luck!!! i will certainly pray for u.
  12. I am so happy. I just found out that I finally passed NCLEX . This is my second try and I was so depressed. The first time I got 265 questions but this time I did 86!! :balloons: NCSBN website was very good for studying and was very much like the test. I'm soooooo happy. Thank God!!!
