  1. Hi Kad and Vfigurosa... I'm currently in my 5th term at Nova (Baptist Scholars Program). My GPA was the same upon application...but I had a 4.0 in science courses. Nova bases it's acceptance on the interview process, which is one of the main reasons I chose this school. Yes, it's true that Baptist pays the full tuition...and it's a great hospital to work for. Best of luck to the both of you!!!
  2. Hey SMC ...i can't send private messages yet b/c i haven't posted over 15 times (getting there though)...but i tried to send you an email...hope it worked.
  3. I would check with your local hospitals...there are a lot of scholarships through hospitals that are not directly affiliated with schools. I was waiting to reply about the amount baptist covered until I knew for sure, but smc got to it first ...good luck with everything!
  4. Hey smc...just wanted to thank you for all your help!!! also, i DO have class on Fridays at 1pm...don't know what i was thinking ...i think our schedules are all the same. The rest of my classes start around 10 Monday-Thursday. are you excited to start???
  5. Coffee is always a good idea...have a feeling I'm going to be living off it for the next 2 years! Congratulations Simontex...looking forward to meeting everyone on Monday.
  6. I'm pretty certain that it covers the whole tuition. The cost estimate per year is on Nova's website under the BSN program-it's all detailed and broken down. Have you apllyed yet?...good luck with everything.
  7. I was in the same situation last year (10 years since high school and never took chem)...you shouldn't worry. Micro is a difficult course (and can be intimidating), but as long as you're interested and don't fall behind, you'll do fine. Good luck with everything!
  8. CONGRATULATIONS!!! Looks like we're going to be classmates. I just found out this morning too. Have you heard any update on the orientation?
  9. Have you heard anything from Baptist yet? I've tried calling a couple of times, but nothing...going crazy waiting argh! I'm normally a very patient person, but not with this.
  10. Hi smc32488...yup, that was me. It was nice to meet you. I'm sooooooo nervous . I think my interview went ok...not great, just ok. We'll see. I hope we both make it. It's always nice to know someone going into these things. Good Luck! Keep me posted.
  11. My Baptist interview is at 2pm on Thursday. Guess I'll see you there. Best of luck with everything!
  12. Age: 28 Previous School: MDC GPA: 3.28 (but 3.9 in science courses) Yes, applyed to Baptist. Has anyone else heard anything yet? I'm so anxious. I'm sooooo excited to start. Is it confirmed that orientation has been changed? Also, do we need to bring anything?
  13. yay...congrats on your acceptance and good luck on the scholarship. i'm keeping my fingers crossed...definitely need the tuition covered. i live on the beach so i hear you on the drive.
  14. Hi everyone...new to this too. Just got accepted into Nova June 9th for fall BSN Program. I believe we get our class schedule during orientation. Soooo excited. I've heard great things about this program. Is anyone else applying for the Baptist scholarship?
