  1. Hi I 'm an LPN I work as an case manager .I see 4 -6 pt's a day plus oncall.We have teams set up with RN's and LPN's.....We do plan of care and pronounce pt once passed away.....We don't do admits......Hospice Nurse for 4 yrs........

Hi I'm a LPN.......I've been a hospice Nurse fo 2yrs in the state of Fl and Al.......The only difference in job scope is I can't do port flush and can't admit a pt into Hospice .......I do blood draws,make home vists if a pt has a HHA in the home RN visit needed q 2 weeks and if not a HHA once a month.......In the company I work for u take call Rn back-up to use as needed.....If any questions please ask............
  3. I'm 30 and have been doing hospice for 2yrs........We have a social worker who's 25 and a few younger nurses.......It's all about the person and if u have young children there might be a problem d/t being oncall.......I would say Go For It age is just a number..............
  4. Few good music cd's would be nice
