I finished the program without working even one day while enrolled. I did have to find someone to shadow for the Leadership course and some of the assignments/discussion board posts were a little difficult, but it is definitely doable.

I just had a baby last April and I banked with CBR. I believe I paid $700 less than the normal price.

I am not a school nurse, but just so you know bad things can happen at school,last year my 13 year old suffered a mjor stroke while running track. She was hospitalized for 6 weeks and never returned full time to school. Thank God the nurse had an ICU background or things could have been worse.

Anyone here work on the maternity unit at Good Samaritan in Phoenix? What do you think of the unit and/or hospital itself? Thanks

My husband is considering a job offer he has in LA and I just wanted to find out about the area. Where is a good place to move a family near LA and what are some of the better hospitals to work for (partpartum and or nursery). I am really interested in the schools and safety of my family mostly, it doesn't have to be in LA, but maybe a decent commute. Thanks

I heard this fron 2 coworkers, but they had never traveled there themselves. They were previosly travelers and they said they would never travel to CAlifornia. I just wanted the opinion of someone who had actually gone there.

Did you work at Kaiser by chance?

I have heard that California is the worst state to travel to due to nursing shortages and how they treat their travelers. I have been cosidering traveling to one of the Kaiser hospitals but haven't selected a definate area yet,and I would like to know if anyone has found this to be true? Thanks
