  1. Hang in there! Remember that the statistics are in your favor! I felt the same exact way when I finished testing last week. I was sure that I had failed, but I passed and you will too!!! Keeping my fingers crossed for ya..NURSE!
  2. Thank you for the "congrats" - I'm so relieved it's over with! Again, well wishes to the next NCLEX challengers!!
  3. I took the NCLEX-PN last week, on the 14th, and PASSED! I cut off at 85, as well, and thought FOR SURE that I had failed. I'm crossing my fingers for ya - I'm sure you did great!!
  4. I passed with 85 and thought, for sure, that I had failed. Keep the faith! You did great!
  5. Good luck to all the Jan NCLEX testers! I took it on the 14th and found out today that I passed.
  6. :ancong!:....great job, Nurse!!
  7. I did lots and lots of practice ?'s using Kaplan Q-bank and Saunder's. Those really help with test-taking strategies and thinking critically. Definitely relax the day before. I didn't and wished I had. Eat a good breakfast that morning and think positively. Good luck to you
  8. oh, and this has been said before but it bears repeating: the test is designed for everyone to get 50% wrong, so be prepared to get a lot of questions on the test you don't know I think that has been what made waiting for my pass/fail result so excruciating for me. I did get a lot of questions that I knew nothing about and just felt doomed/defeated during the exam, knowing that I would fail. That is a great point to bring up and remember though - don't freak out when you see a med or topic you may not have studied or know much about.
  9. I took the NCLEX-PN on Wed, and like most of us, felt sure that I failed. The test, for me, was unlike any of the many practice tests I've done/study programs I used (Saunders, Kaplan Q-Bank). I thought it was really difficult - I got a lot of pharmacology (which I'm not great at), a handful of the SATA, MedSurg and some prioritization. When it cut off at 85 I really was sure that I had done that badly. Our class has had a 100% pass rate for many years now and the pressure of failing, let alone being the first to fail, has been overwhelming. I was so relieved this morning to check the quick results and see that "pass". I am still shaking and crying - it's been very emotional. Thanks for all the support and I wish all the future text-takers the best of luck!
  10. viajera61 - I wish you the best of luck and hope you get the good news soon! I took the NCLEX-PN yesterday and cut off at 85. I did great in school, but this exam was hard for me and I was flustered and confused. I am sure that I didn't cut off at 85 because the computer was satisfied I demonstrated enough knowledge, but because it was sure I had no clue. UGH. I get my results tomorrow so I'll know for sure.
  11. I'm so sorry - that's heartbreaking, I'm sure. I just took the NCLEX-PN yesterday, and my gut feeling, like yours, is that I failed. Best of luck to you on your re-test - by the sounds of your results you are definitely on the right track and I know you'll get it next time
  12. I'm sorry to hear about your results, but know you'll pass this time! Good luck to you
  13. :yeah:Congrats to you! :yeah:Take a little time to catch your breath and celebrate!
