  1. I like Redding Medical. Fast shipping. www.reddingmedical.com
  2. I like the Grey's Anatomy scrubs. But to address the see-thru problem, I wear beige under garments. Although some nurses like their garments to be seen.
  3. Best Wishes to all who are getting ready to take boards. I took mine for the first time 7/2/09. My husband drove me to Morgantown, WV to the Pearson center. We got there about an 1.5 hr early so I went in to make sure I was at the right place. The lady told me I could take my test early. So I did. After about question 58 my mind started to wonder so I decided to take a break. I came back and after each question I answered I looked at the number thinking to myself when is it going to end. I answered question 92 and my screen went blank. I wanted to keep going because I didn't feel I had done well. I immediatly became nauseated, my heart sunk. I knew I had blown it. I had to go to the BR. My stomach began to do flip flops and back flips. I had to vomit. After about 10 min in the BR, I came back and did the exit survey. The nice ladies walked me out and told me good luck. The ride home was horrible. We had to stop many time because I was so sick. I kept thinking, what was I going to tell my friends and work? My husband told me not to worry- its just a test- I can re-take it if I need to. Don't worry:angryfire..... 3.5 years of my life depended on this test.... I won't worry. When we got home I looked up some of the questions I wasn't sure about. Sure enough, I didn't answer them right. More reason to fail. I looked on the SB site expecting to see a big FAIL beside my name. OMG!!!!!!!!!!! I have an active license. My status has been changed from temp to permanent. My heart began to do the jig. I wanted to scream but nothing came out. Of course my husband is at work and I can't tell him that I don't have to worry!!! Wow, I passed. Seems like it is happening to someone else and I am watching it. Think positive. Go into the BR before your test, look into the mirror and tell yourself "I am going to pass this test. I am!!! " Good luck everyone, you will pass this test.

  5. Hi, My name is Teresa. I am 29 yo. I have been an LPN x12yrs. I currently work at the Veteran's Affairs Medical Center in my area. I love the vets :redbeathe. I am enrolled in Mountain State University in the LPN-BSN program. They give you credit for being an LPN. This was the only program around that did this. I went 1 noc a week for the firts 1.5 yrs and now I go 2 nocs a week. One for class and the other for clinical. My experience at this particular university has not been good. I am a very organized, on time, matter of fact kind of person. They are the total opposite. But I am most happy to say I have 300 days left. I will stay at the VA b/c I have so many years in now. And the VA is good to work for. I love what I do and the people I take care of. Good luck to all of the nurses getting ready to take boards and good luck to all the nurses in school.
  6. Hello to all the great nurses : I am in a LPN-BSN program. I have 300 days left I am in a legal issues & trends class now. I have to write two 10 page papers on one legal and one ethical issue but the two have to be related. My idea is a person is brought into the ER with suicide attempt and has AD's with DNR. What do you do? I think he is a DNR and do nothing but other nurse's and MD's I have talked to want to treat him b/c of suicide. This actually happened where I work. They treated the man but unfortunately he did not live. I appreciate all input.
  7. Please send a copy of the NANDA diagnosis. I am enrolled in a LPN-BSN program and need these for class. I can not find them online anywhere. I have checked NANDA's site. Thank you:balloons:
