my name was on state board website after a week of receiving the payment and got my license a week later...basically it took 2 weeks

After waiting for 3 weeks 6 days , i am glad to say 'i passed' am an LVN now, thanx everyone for your word of support

i took nclex-pn onn 3/29 in cali and am still waiting, i understand what you are going thru. keep youself busy i know you did ok

Does anyone know if pass/fail affects the duration one is supposed to receive results? just wondering why its taking so long. what do the board do after receiving results?

i know how feel, took my test on 3/29 , i had 160 questions 1st attempt, let us how you did

kaplan is good especially critical thinking part, Saunders is the best in comprehension part, i was able to understand more using the cd. And since you have only a week to go ...i would encourage you to answer as many questions as you can ( your weak areas) on the cd.

i took kaplan qbank too, overall score 55 %, nclex-pn was more like kaplan, am still waiting for result.

CNA do bed side care...assist with activities of daily living eg bathing, taking vital signs, bed making. MA work at front desks at doc' office or hospital. now depending on where you leave. MA program can take upto 6-9 months , CNA class about 2 months in Cali. payrate is almost the same for CNA & MA. Some hosp do hire MA but most of the time they work in clinics.
