  1. hi! i just passed nclex and have passed ielts as well. i do not have philippine RN license. i took the june 2006 and failed. after that i never attempted to retake it. will this give me a problem in applying for a VSC? pls enlighten me. thank you.
  2. any couples here who are both nurses? i'm just curious because me and my wife are both future US RNs (hopefully...if we pass nclex). i want to know how you take your shifts? do you still see each other? we have a kid and that means we won't be able to take shifts of the same time. someone has to be on the graveyard and the other on AM shift. just wanted to see stories of people with this situation. thanks. :)
  3. hi there! after passing ielts, nclex and getting a visa screen...and while waiting for the processing...and the on going retrogression... what specific training or experience would really help me find a good rn job in the US? some friends told me to train under dialysis nursing, etc, etc. would these training really help me or not? and if they will... what area would you recommend? your inputs and advice are welcome...:welcome:
  4. i'm also from the philippines. i just passed ielts last november 06 and i'm now waiting for my nclex eligibility. planning to take nclex mid to late this year as i'm still preparing for it. i've read in the thread that i can apply for visa screen after passing my nclex. my question is...do i wait for the retrogression to be lifted or i can go ahead and apply for a visa screen eventhough it's still retrogression? then after getting visa screen... i need to find a hospital that would sponsor me. is that correct? just wanted to be sure that i'm on the right track. i don't want to be misled by mere gossips again. thanks in advance. :)
