Pregnancy question
They will not test for pregnancy, but I would tell your nurse manager, its nothing to be ashamed of or discrimated against because of.. it is a BLESSING!!! I don't mean to offend you or seem morbid at all but it would be totally reasonable to wait until you are out of the 1st trimester...alot of people dont share the news until then anyway. You would be suprised how common this situation is (new employeee, newly pregnant), she will probably react better than you are expecting. What are your plans? Will you be out long after the delivery? You may want to come up with a plan for working around it prior to telling her so you can be prepared to advocate for your position just in case she isnt understanding. Good luck with the baby and job.

Help! Pre-Employment Drug Testing
Dont worry, I've never seen those OTC meds show up (i worked in occupational health) and even if it does, they will notify you and give you chance to state what drugs you are taking and probably do a repeat. Goody luck!

Starting EC- LVN to ADN
Hi, I'm an LVN of 12 yr and have been working on transitioning to RN for the last few years, but with 3 kiddo's its a slow process. I've spoken to someone at Chancellor?? From reading prev posts I understand its a publishing co for EC... I'm pretty motivated in self study, but I'm most curious and stressed about the clinical part (CPNE?) Has anyone been thru it or know exactly what the expectations and grading criteria are? I havent enrolled yet, I want more info before I commit.... thanks to any advice!
