CNA salary
Im in fl i make $11.15 an hour through an agency. they pay more than hospitals and LTC USUALLY. look for short term classes. I got my cna lic in 2 weeks.

general question: WHAT IS A GOOD cna TO PT RATIO?
in ltc here 6 pts is a great day. usually 8-12 though. in the hospital it's about 25 pts.

hey thanks for the advice. i have decided i am going to goto cf and start my pre-reqs and go for the rn instead of bridging. webster is an awesome college. i started there for medical asst but had to quit b/c of pregnancy complications. maybe after my pre-reqs i can go back. thanks.

ocala area here. theres central florida community college. $7,500 1 yr in length. 2 yr waiting list and professional health training academy. private. $13,000. 11 months. no wait list. no pre-reqs. hope this helps.

it seems pretty easy to get in. all the people i have talked to that have gone there have passed but some complain of it being very unorganized. they just got accredited and accept financial aid. its a private school and costs over 13k to go. the local comm college is only 7500 but like i said it has a 2 yr wait list. they also told me i could do my bridge there.:typing

has anyone ever heard of this school??? it's in bellview fl. about 35-40 minutes from me. i am near cfcc and they have a 2 yr waiting list for lpn and rn so i going to try this school. has anyone heard anything good or bad?? i have heard both. thanks

hello all. i want to 1st start out by saying that i absolutley love this site and i think im addicted. lol. i have been reading and reading for sooo long and finally decided i would introduce myself. my name is kelly. i am 18 yrs old, married and have a 9 month old baby girl. (kloe elizabeth) i work 2 jobs, one for an agency as a cna where i am currently placed at a hospital and love it. i also work part time at an ob-gyn office and goto school part time for phlebotomy. (i have a really full plate) i am planning on starting lpn school in august, it's an 11 month program where i will bridge to rn where i hope to get into ob. reading all the msg boards i am so encouraged to get into ob. i work in all departments here at the hospital and no one is as happy as all the great nurses and staff that come from ob, mb, and pp. but i have typed enough and cant wait to hear from u all...!!!
