  1. thanks a lot ! yes, that seems like the route to go. the math part of it all is not hard at all, just getting used to setting up the problems is tricky. but like you said.. the more I do it, the easier it will become. great advice. thanks !
  2. is hard ! right now learning conversion factors in dimensional analysis for problem solving. any tips ? I have a hard time converting when there are two different units.. for example : Worldwide emissions of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere are estimated at 1X10^9th (scientific notation) tons/year. what is this emission rate in kg/hr ?
  3. well, my teacher is nuts.. plain and simple. he kills EVERYTHING to death. all 15 pages. i'm studying my butt off... first exam i got a 70% and the second one was a 66%. his tests are so detailed, and very very tricky. don't know if i can even get a B out of this class. i'm just ranting. Hopefully can even get a C. Never had a C before. Never had this much trould with a class. AHH ! is general chem any easier ?
  4. first pay check was $834 .. worked 92 hours. i get 9.75/hr and 10.75/hr on weekends. messed up on my W2, having put 2 dependants when i should have put 1 !! got it fixed though, hoping to get money back
  5. thanks for your reply !! I know I just needed to study more. The information it self isn't hard, there is just a lot of it ! Thanks again!!!
  6. SUCKED !!! I got a low C. I'm usually a B student, so I'm freaking out. The test was 7 pages of very detailed questions. Just venting, scared to see the outcome of this class.
  7. ... lab question: why are there no "staphylobacillus" groupings in terms of bacterial shape thanks in advanced
  8. cannot for the life of me decide what to do as far as my nursing education plans. as of now, i am working on gen.ed classes, and i'm a CNA. should i get my CMA, should i apply into an LPN program, should i apply for the BSN program?? do not really know where to go from here !! any advice or thoughts or experience would be soooo helpful, even though i know this is sort of a personal choice, just need some pointers and such !! thank you in advanced
  9. actually you roll the person AWAY from you !

  15. thanks for all the replies you guys !!! i love love love going to class each day.. even if it is 9-4 !! not to mention my instructors rock, which make it so much more enjoyable. My instructor mentioned the thing about someone else applying to the hospital with experience, and i understand that... so more than likely i will probably apply to a few ltc. congrats on passing on the first try !!! i cannot wait to go to the hospital for the three days of clinicals. after this CNA hoopla is overwith, the anxiety of pre-nursing classes sets in again!!! statistics and microbiology this fall, but excited that im getting closer to HOPEFULLY getting into a nursing school :) okay... done rambling good luck to you all, and thanks again !!!! after
