  1. the usual all white "Good Humor Man" uniform.. don't know if we are taking care of patients or delievering ice cream. All white shoes, no color visible. Also, uniform pants were very thin and very much see through. Our zip up shirts, for the males, have a high choker collar. No matter if you ironed, starched, or whatever the collad did it's own thing. Left side would stand up, right side would curl under.
  2. not aware of any quota.. but more men are beginning to appear in the new sections.. I am not sure if it is the school or just more qualified male applicants. I am in the 3rd term and we started with about 25 males out of 144 students. Good luck.
  3. I am also in the FCCJ ADN program... currently in the 2nd term. (Adult Health 1).
  4. My wife is a NICU RN and I have got to experience that already. It is very intersting and something I have thought about. I am very interested in becoming a neonatal NP.
  5. I am currently in the ADN program and work full-time at Shands. I work 12hr shifts every weekend and 1 day during the week. It is challenging but not impoosible. Just stay focused and determined. Charles
  6. Since you already have tele/ cardiac experience, I would check with Baptist Medical Center downtown. They have a state of the art "heart hospital". Might be of interest to you.
  7. Anyone in Jax. attending FCCJ, UNF, or JU nusing school ?
