  1. I am an RN with 2 yrs experience in SDS specializing in optholmology. I am now wanting to get more experience in other areas such as NICU, L&D, GYN, SDS or PACU. (Keep in mind I am willing to work in any field however these units are very competative and would be more of my desire.) Most of these units want an x amount of years experience before they will hire you let alone consider you for these positions. My question is how do I get this experience if no one is willing to give me a try. Do, I need to shadow the nurses on the units, talk to the managers them selfs, ect. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  4. I just wanted to say thanks to this website and everyone on it. I took my nclex rn yesterday for the last time and found out today that I passed. I can't say enough how excited and proud I am. I just wanted to shed some light and hope to those who are taking the test for the first time or repeat test takers. Whatever you do, do not give up. Keep trying and do your best. All the hard studying will pay off in the long run. Best of luck to everyone. :D:yeah:
  5. Well another PVT believer. I took the rn test yesterday, got the pop up and looked on the board of nursing website today. It has me as passed. I am an official RN. Sooooooooo Excited!!!!!!:):)
  6. Well took the nclex rn this am. Came home tried the pearsonvue trick. Got this pop up "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time." Is this the good pop that everyone indicates that you passed. If, so I am soooooo excited.
  7. Angel_RN I read your post. I wanted to know if you could tell me what those websites were you used to do the mock tests. I have been looking and have not be successful. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am taking my boards in about 4 wks. Thanks so much.:)
  8. I wanted to know from everyone who has passed ncelx rn using these review courses which one is better. Kaplan or Drexel and what you liked/disliked about each one. They are both being offered here for me locally and I can't decide which one to choose. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks!
  9. I have a question. I took the 180 question test from the CD in the Kaplan ncelx rn with cd book and scored 63%. Does any body know what is considered a passing score for this test with Kaplan. I am just wondering if my score needs to be quite higher or if that is a passing score. Thanks!
  10. I just wanted everyone to know that the trick works. I took my lpn boards yesterday. I got the pop up message and tonight my name was on the bon. I am officially and LPN. hurray!! Congrats to all the new nurses and to everyone else whose are waiting for their results hang in there.
  11. No not at that time. But now it does say delivery successful and when I try to register a pop up comes up and says "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time." Could that mean I passed sents it won't let me get to the credit card screen?
  12. Hi everyone. Quick question. I took my lpn test this am. I came home to try the pearsonvue trick and I got a pop up that states "The candidate currently has an open registration for this exam. A new registration cannot be created at this time." Does anyone know what that means. Could I have passed or does it mean I failed. I could not go past the review page where you put in your school code, ect. Can someone please give me some advise. Thanks!
