  1. I agree with you UTRN, there are so many things to think about. I really wanted a competitive and reputable program, one that was going to expose me to as many cases as possible. I also wanted to do clinicals in the same city as the school. As far as degree types, unless you plan on teaching, you don't need to graduate with an MSN, and even some schools don't require that. And now, some schools are offering DNP prgograms for Master's trained NA's which is benefits all CRNA who want to get a doctorate. Both schools you mentioned are great, apply, go to the interview, or meet the directors and you will get a feel of what school matches you best. Good Luck.
  2. Hey, I'm in too. I'm so excited!! Can't wait to meet you, June 25 is going to come fast.
  3. Hey, I heard that they are sending out their letters in waves. Some acceptance letters went out and others still are being sent out. I don't know whether that is correct or not, but I was at another interview, and a girl got her letter from TCU on 1/25. So, hopefully you have, or will get one soon. Good luck.
  4. Hey,I received my acceptance yesturday. The mail system has been funny lately, so hopefully you'll here soon Good Luck.
  5. Hey you guys, I just received my acceptance yesturday. My interview with Baylor is soon, and if I get accepted I have a lot of thinking to do. Any advice?
  6. Hey, SLEHSRNA, I think we work together. Anyway, I interviewed at both TWU and TCU. I liked the TCU interview better because I could tell they really wanted to get to know me, and read my resume and essay. At TWU, I felt it was a little more impersonal And gald to say, I received my TCU acceptance yesturday. Baylor is coming up fast. Good Luck to you guys.
  7. Yesturday, got my acceptance. The mail has been funny lately, so you should here soon. Good Luck, and keep me posted..... Did you apply to any other Texas schools?
  8. Hey there, I also interviewed at TCU and TWU. I found the TCU interview to be the best experience. I could tell by the questions they asked me that they read my resume and essay. It was a very pleasant experience, and glad to say, I received mt acceptance yesturday. Tonetone77, please inform me on what you know about there program, and the "give back" money thing. Nothing like that was ever mentioned to me. Wesleyan's interview was clinical based, and I felt that they didn't really care to get to know me. They asked me questions, and I felt were trying to confuse me. My interview with Baylor is coming up, and it an all day thing. Good Luck to you guys.
