Washington Hospital FREMONT
yea, i BSNs only. They are going for magnet, so only a percentage of nurses can have less than a bsn.

Washington Hospital FREMONT
I interviewed with WHHS last summer. They ask for a pic so they can remember faces. there are two rounds of interviews. the first round is 4 candidates interviewed by a panel of nurse managers and the new grad program coordinator. This lasts for about an hour as candidates go through rounds of questions taking turns. If you make it past the first round, the second interview is a large group interview. kinda strange. good luck everyone. I did not get the job b/c i did not graduate yet at the time and still would of have one semester to go when the new grad program started (i am in an ELMSN program). good luck everyone!

Anyone applying to direct entry msn programs in California?
So I finally watched the SMC DVD. I agree with Bertolozzi that the DVD's main purpose is to promote Samuel Merritt College. The DVD offers a brief overview of the college, including information about its location, its mission, and interviews from SMC students. It also goes on to explain the different programs that they offer. Lastly, the DVD provides general information about student services at SMC, such as financial aid, the bookstore, on campus housing, and extracurricular activities. The DVD was enclosed with a little xeroxed note from Anne Seed, the Director of Admission saying to enjoy their new DVD. Rockypooh- thanks for the update on when we should expect notifications on inteviews. Their time frame seems so long. I guess we all have to wait patiently. But that is easier said than done. Good Luck everyone!

no word here either. I also did not get an email saying that they received my application. I did however receive a DVD about Samuel Merritt last week. Did anyone else receive this dvd?

Anyone applying to direct entry msn programs in California?
I am also from northern ca applying for direct entry msn programs. I applied to UCSF, USF, SFSU, Samuel Merritt. I did not get an interview for UCSF. I already got accepted to USF...but USF doesn't have a FNP track. I was admitted to the healthcare leadership track. I am waiting to hear back from SFSU (a general direct MSN program) and Samuel Merritt (FNP). Does anyone know what you can do with a MSN in healthcare leadership?

How did you do on the NET?
I took the NET last Thursday. What makes the reading section tough is the time constraint. 33 questions in 30 mins is cutting it real close. I finished 29/33 questions in the 30 min. BUT....if we had extra time on other sections we could go back to any previous section to finish up. You could always go back, but never ahead. So I was able to finish all my questions. Was this how it was for everyone else? I'll let you know how I did when I get my test scores back..hope it went well :)
