  1. I was trying to get into the Spring 2008 Program. I am going to retake the test on July 28. The cut-off to apply is Sept 3. I could kick myself, for my mistake.
  2. i was in the same situation. i took ap biology in 1990. you need to request the official transcript from college board--they administer the ap, sat and clep. have them send it directly to you school. i believe the cost is $25. here is the info from the collegeboard: http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/ap/exgrd_rep.html grade reporting servicesthe grade reporting services listed below are available to students. except for "grades by phone" students can order these services by contacting ap services: ap services p.o. box 6671 princeton, nj 08541-6671 phone: (609) 771-7300 or (888) 225-5427 (toll-free in the u.s. and canada) when requesting grade reporting services be sure to include the following information with each of your requests: the grade reporting service(s) you are requesting. your full name, home address, gender, date of birth, ap number(s), and social security number. each year you took ap exams. a credit card number and expiration date, or a check or money order for the exact amount due. make checks and money orders payable to ap exams. when requesting additional grade reports, also include the name, city and state, and college code of the college(s) you would like to receive your report. when requesting grade withholding, grade cancellation, multiple-choice rescoring, or your free-response booklets, also include the name(s) of the exam(s) to which your request applies.archived ap gradesfour years after your test date, your ap grades are removed from our active computer files and archived. requests for these archived grades must be in writing and cost $25 per recipient. in your correspondence, sent to the address above, please include the following information: your name at the time you took the exam, date of birth, social security number, current mailing address, daytime phone number, the year the exam was taken, name of the exam, name of the high school you attended, and the name and address of the institution to which you'd like your ap grades sent. your ap transcript will go into first-class mail within 7 to 10 business days after we receive your request.
  3. Nessa I did the same thing. I thought there was 60 questions. I got 122.
  4. I got my scores back on 03/10. I got 122, I dont feel too bad seeing that did not answer 20 question, because of own ignorance, as stated above. I thought there was 60 questions--because there was 60 question on the practice test. So I will retake the take in July. Verbal-45 percentile, Math--96 percentile and Science-92 percentile. I basically screwed myself. My advice to anyone taking the test practice your speed, and you dont know the answe guess. I guessed on the last 10 question in Math section.
  5. I would not attend Robert Morris. The were initially a business school, and now they are branching out into medical/nursing/surgical tech. They are way too expensive, my sister went there for her Medical Assistant certificate and paid too much for it.
  6. Hey Don I emailed you the two sites I used. The Sociology test is pretty much common sense. I am think about trying human growth and development I think that will be harder than sociology.
  7. I took the test on 03/03/07, I did not realize that there were 80 questions on the Verbal, and stopped after 60, because the NLN practice only had 60 question. I will be retaking the test. I think the answer for the Newton question is 500. Since you already has the mass in Kg X by 9.8. The way to remember is Newton the unit of Force. F=M(kg)*Gravity
  8. I clepped Sociology, it was not hard. You can find a couple free online courses, or go to Border and get a book. I had never taken sociology before, passed it no problem. I would not CLEP Chemistry, go for Psychology or Sociology.
  9. I took the test on Saturday. Get the NLN Practice book--McDonald and work on your speed. I dont think the test is too hard, but I did not work fast enough and thats the major problem--working against you. The Math--60 question-1 hr, Verbal and Science--80 questions 1hr. While the book is Math 45 mins--45 question, Verbal and Science 60 questions 45 min. One word--Speed.
  10. Don't feel bad you could be in my position. I have BA-History and Political Science. MBA and Graduate certificate in Healthcare Management. I felt like I waste my time.
  11. Thanks a lot Pigpen. You advice is very good and well-heeded. I agree with, that I need to learn some more about the program at CLC. I am planning on challenging it in the fall. My reason is that I have a full-time job and I did not want to waste time, if I save some time. How do you like the program do far.
  12. I have quick question. I am thinking about challenging NUR 171 at clc. Does anyone happen to have a copy of syllabus. Thanks a lot.
  13. Do not be discouraged. I am planning to go CLC, and they do not use the lottery system. They go strictly by Entrance exam. They admit the top 60 people.
  14. I spoke to the director of the Rn program, and said I can challenge the 1st two classes.
