  1. Congrats to everyone, I too got word today. I was accepted, the wait is finally over. I won't be attending COT until Jan. and I'm ok with that. Wish you all the best GOOD LUCK!!
  2. I know the loooonggggest of our lives. I guess like many others my recruiter left out a couple things, I didnt get to choose a COT date but my recruiter told me that i would probably go the first class for 2012 and I am cool with that. I have 3 years experience 1 year PACU and 2 years Med/Surg. After talking with the CNO who interviewed me, she suggested Wright-Patterson, Lackland, Eglin and Travis. She did make it clear that going to Lackland prepare to be deployed. What are your plans??
  3. I havent posted to this thread but I got really excited when I seen the Rich heard that he was accepted. Im also waiting to hear if I have been selected for a Med/Surg position for the July boards for the AF. My recruiter called for some clarification on my CV, I sent it back immediately. Excited that my app is being reviewed. But its nerve wrecking waiting . I didnt think the wait would get so intense, I havent told my family yet so I cant vent my fustrations to them. Just ready to know. Anyone else hear anything? I hope I get lucky and find out before the 19th!!!!
  4. I would love more information on the nurse corps for the navy reserves, I was just inquiring about that today on the website. So whatever information you can provide I appreciate it.
  5. So do I need to apply for IT positions because the hospital where I work doesn't really use the term "nursing informatics"?
  6. Thanks alot, I'm so excited about the learning experience!!!
  7. Thanks alot!
  8. My first 3 days were awesome and I didnt look like an idiot, Thanks guys for your help!
  9. Thanks alot anurseuk, I will let you know how it goes!
  10. Good Luck!
  11. So working in informatics doesn't require a MSN or an IT degree?
  12. I am preparing to do my internship in CICU, and I just wanted to know it anyone could tell me how I should prepare. Is there some things that I should just know to help me NOT look like a complete idiot during my internship? Please Help!
  13. The hardest class I have taking in the program is Med-Surg II, I lost 5 classmates that semester(the most we lost in one semester), MSIII isn't that bad in my program because it is strictly emergency care. Good Luck
