  1. Well i've been looking at couple of the schools and the information i receive at new age sounds better. I'm want to do patient care tec so their figure amount is about $800 but their classes are very small. Mandl school figures were about $4000, in which i thought it was outlandish and manhatten instiute was about $1200. But like i said it will be alittle cheaper for you because i was looking at pct and you want cna.
  2. She couldn't have put it better: i didn't buy any study guides, I went to the library and a found a nursing school entrance exam study guide book, That help me alot.
  3. I've read all of you guys posts and i wanted to stay think you. I took the entrance exam yesterday and found it relatively easy just not enough time.
  4. Yes, i think so. I'm a home health aide myself (hopefully starting the lpn program in the fall) and its easier to deal with one patientwhile in school than 10-12 patients in one shift. you should be able to find work now since you now have experience working in the home health field. Good luck
  5. I took the same test yesterday for the Manh. class. I heard that they call you in for a test on science. Good luck
  6. Girl i'm in the same boat as you, i went to city tech in brooklyn and my major was marketing however 2 yrs later i don't want to do. I've been doing cna work n decided will now i want to be a lpn. I know dat the a couple of community colleges out here in the city offer lpn program but i decided to attend the BOE manhatten cntr lpn program. Good luck on your search
