Freakin' cold!!!
arciedee- thanks a ton--actually any input is helpful. I think a good deal of comfort comes in knowing that there are others that take the "sink or swim" approach and "keep strokin" so to speak. Appreciate the congrats and hope to learn the profs quick as I understand how learning instructor styles is just as much a part of doing well in a class as actually doing well in a class is (confusing huh?) Best of luck to you as well! halv1326

Freakin' cold!!!
Hey all!! Am headed to Michigan State University accelerated bachelors degree program which begins in May! (YEA!!!) Am fired up to head back up north from Missouri. Was curious if anyone has or is going thru accelerated programs right now and would LOVE feed back on things that were or are beneficial. Currently teach college (instructor in an athletic training program and teach UG nutrition course), so the experience on this end of the spectrum is hopefully a plus. Just want to hear what my electronic nurses have to say about these super fast formats!! Thanks for the input! jr

MSUnurseo7- thanks for the input. Am curious to see how the travel gig goes. Appears that you are attempting to do the CRNA @ Oakland (noticed from hopping around on the site and want to do that myself). Any "heads up" youd like to throw my way would be appreciated in the utmost!!! The best halv1326

Is anyone else freaking?
I'll jump in this boat!! I have no idea when the school is going to contact me and feel like a goofy little kid checking the mail box everyday. I should probably just sit back and enjoy the ride, but I'm goin nutso wanting to know if I got in. Plus, with a May start, there is a ton of stuff I could be getting done, like getting my family ready to move!!! AAARRRRGGG!

I know this is the first year they are doing the summer start. Has anyone gone thru the prog (accel 2nd deg) prior? Curious to how it went. I'm sure it's a lot packed into a year so I expect to have to deal with some degree of "hustle bustle"....just want to know if there are any heads ups??

Are each of those in the East Lansing area? I was under the impression that with the program being through Michigan State, it would tend to be local.

Need advice on A&PI
I know you said you already purchased the cards and I agree with the recommendation of focusing on the systems. One thing I usually recommend is the anatomy coloring book. Runs about $20 or less, but is VERY helpful. You can color away and name structures as you go...nice if your a hands on learner!
