I asked that question last summer and they are no longer running the SNAP program. It's too bad too, I would have love to have done it.

HI Sunnsand, I just got my packet in the mail and it's saying that orientation is in Lincoln. Did you get anything?? I'm just going to double check on Monday. I was so happy to read that the uniform is green pants!! I always thought we would have to wear white pants . Let me know what you hear, Thanks!

Hey Sunnsand, I finally got in touch with Deborah. Orientation is December 15th in Wariwck at 1 pm, I'm sure you heard. I can't believe we're actually starting! I don't know about you but it feels like it was just yesterday I was taking intro to nursing. Well life will be upside down for the next two years but it's worth it! Hope to see you there!

It was intense but in a way a little easier, you didn't have a chance to forget anything! I would take all my classes that way if I could. Have you heard anything abouot orientation?

I haven't received anything yet. I actually called last week because I was supposed to start last year but I was pregnant so they said I could delay until this session. So I called Deborah Watson and she said all was good and I could register! I told her to give me a couple days to think about it though. I guess once you accpet a spot, there is no turning back, so I just want to make sure I can do this! I will need to quit my full time job to go through the program so it's a huge decison! With a house and two kids my husband and I really have to crunch the numbers but I know that in the long run two really crappy years really won't seem too bad. Knowing that I will have job security in this time will be a great relief! I'm looking into taking a CNA class so that I can at least work part time. How much are the books? I hear that the first semester is like 2400 with books and uniforms and everything! Crazy! Definetely will be taking out a loan.

Stupid question, what can an RN do that an LPN can't????

Just wondering if it's a good idea. I would like to have another baby and didn't want to wait two plus years to finish school. Just wondering if anyone has experience with this or just a general opinion.

Hi, I took Anatomy in the summer with Johnson and I have a three year old and a fulltime job.I won't lie, it was tough but I did well. I guess it depends on how you can handle the work. It sounds like you've made a big dent in your anatomy book which tells me you're very dedicated. I don't think I cracked that book open at all. Dosage isn't bad, don't get caught up in it, it's actually pretty easy. I'm taking phys now with DeAngelis, not the nicest guy but he's pretty easy. I wish you luck, you sound like you've found your callin!:w00t:
