Pre-adn Student Question
Thanks. Just the answers I was looking for. I have a question on pre-reqs. Does phys. and micro. have to be completed before you can apply into the program? Also, I noticed your age. Mine is the same. Is it mostly youngins in the classroom and is it awkward in that respect? Guess I'm getting the pre-school anxiety. Good luck with the nursing program. God Bless

Wasn't much of a student
It has been 5 years off since my return to school. My school has went from a list to performance based that I think is mostly on GPA of prerequ's. I appreciate all of your responses. Thanks

Wasn't much of a student
Thanks for the response. Do you think they would take into account my current hard work or just look at the GPA?

Wasn't much of a student
I wasn't much of a student when I initially attended community college. I took classes and left without cancelling courses and recieved F's for some other classes that I found semi interesting I received B's. I never cared for school but went for my parents sake till I gave up completely. Hated school. Many years later with a strong passion for Nursing I am now getting A's mostly and B's. GPA is getting better but still low. Is there a chance that the powers that be would look at my current performance and how I have done and am doing with the prereqs or strictly on GPA? Any advice? Appreciate the help, PREMALERN

Pre-adn Student Question
Hi, I found a passion for Nursing and am starting with summer Session I, taking Intro to Health Careers and Medication Dosage Calculations. Are these classes overchallenging taken together in such a short time? How about me taking my first Science Class, Human Anatomy in Session II? I have intercepted the Anatomy book and read the 1st 15 chapters cause I know Anatomy would probably be tough taken in summer. Did I mention I work full time? I am thinking positively and hoping that I will find an equilibrium point of work and study. Are these doable or pipedreams?!?! Sense of urgency to finish these prereqs. Please share with me! at CCRI Thanks, PREMALERN
