Thank you very much for replying! I think I'm going to check into TTC's program. I think it would be a good way to see if nursing is for me. If I like it, then I want to go all the way! I'm only 30(without kids). I want to find a satisfying career because I'm totally burned out in my present one. Hopefully, it will work out. Thanks!

Does anyone know about the Nurse Tech Training Class at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa? I'm very interested in Nursing! Would it be better to start in a program-such as this- Or, enroll in Tulsa Technology Center's CNA program?

Thank you very much! My husband is my strongest supporter. Anybody else, they pause and say, "A nurse, are you sure, that's hard!" On the other hand the nurse at my job is the one who got me started with the idea. I think I can do it, but I'm nervous! My sister-n-law, who is a caregiver, is starting LPN school, after I strongly encouraged her to consider being a nurse. Well, if I don't become a nurse, at least someone will!

Hello. My name is Nika,and I live in Tulsa(3 years-from Louisiana). I've been working with juveniles for 5+years. I'm looking to make a career change. Married with 0 kids yet. My friend and I will be starting at Tulsa Tech this month for a CNA course. I'm looking to follow the same path as you. I'm just so darn nervous. I have a wonderful support system. How is the program at TTC? I already have a degree in Criminal Justice, and I'm 30. I'm really not interested in my field anymore. A few years ago, I was accepted into a practical nursing program in Louisiana, but I quit before it started. I didn't think I could do it. Well, I'm going to try again!
