I actually just started this week. Workload is manageable for now. I'm having trouble with A&P cells and cell functions. I'll get it done though. Still in the boring phases lol.

Hi I just started on the 25th, Lincoln tech Edison (which is now the Iselin campus). Orientation was long, consisted of a tour, paper work, talks about clinical and things like that. You receive your books, id, and uniform the 1st day of class. What didn't you like about Eastwick?

What happened to patient's rights? I am in NJ at a Rehab facility as well but I work as a CNA full time on 3-11pm shift. Night care is not usually provided in terms of sponge bath and showers UNLESS patient NEEDS or REQUESTS it. If a patient says they will clean themselves how are you going to force them into you doing it for them? I don't understand that!

Moretonel I'm a CNA, working in a rehab hospital techs make $18 Per Diem.

Wow techs in NJ make 18 max. $24 is starting pay for LPN

I am already a HHA and just waiting for certificate to come in the mail. Is it true that I don't have to take the whole CNA class over? 1 place I called said I only had to do the last week? Anyone know? or can help me?

Yes i haveheard of bergen regional!! my friend actually graduated from hohokus-hackensack ....i am trying to decide on hohokus in hackensack for LPN or holy name hospital?.... that is great that they pay off half your student loans!!!, and it sounds like they pay well...did u have to specialize in a specific field

Yea since 2004!!! sad i know, thats why i am going to try to do an LPN course first!

I am considering taking the LPN program at HOHOKUS-Hackensack!! What is the starting salary for LPN's in NJ?
