I'm 33, just graduated in December. I am one of the younger people in my class.

Every question has a different point value that is unknown to the test taker. Therefore, there is no way to know. A scaled score of 450 is required.

Got my results yesterday. Took it on the 14th, results on 22nd. Passed. What a relief. I felt the same finishing that test. I had to use the knowlege I had gained over the last 2-3 years to figure out the best answer. For those of you still studying and delaying the boards, don't wait any longer. Take it as soon as possible. More studying won't likely make much difference. The test is more broad than you realize.

My advice stems from the situation at the schools in my area. It is frowned upon to have knowledge of questions because it clouds your actual knowledge base. Our interview is strictly clinical. (Maybe 2 questions regarding life) They want a true and accurate assessment of your skills prior to starting the program. The way I answered the question was correct. However, that was for this area. If the director at your chosen school is ok with it, GET AS MANY QUESTIONS AS YOU CAN. Master everything you can get your hands on. Then again, if the interview isn't clinical, then go to the bookstore and read up on interviewing. Regardless, BE YOURSELF. Most of these people have been doing this for a long time and can see right through people. Don't fake anything. Be HONEST and admit when you don't know something. On several occassions in my interview I said "I dunno" and I got into school and out. Good luck, let us know how it turns out.

The best advice I can give you is to not go into an interview with prior knowledge of interview questions. Bad idea.

Heart, I feel the exact same way. I took my quiz yesterday at 0800. I finished at 90 and have that feeling that I may be the one person that failed at 90. If any of you are contemplating taking the test soon but have not yet scheduled, take it tomorrow. No amount of studying (in addition to what you have already done) will likely make a difference. Reassurance for HeartIcu and myself would be great. Thanks!!!

Yes, I have heard of this on different occassions. There are times, from what I hear, that a certain number of people will take the entire test regardless of their performance so that all of the questions in the bank may be used/tested. This only from what I hear. Anybody else? DAG

The "sweat book" is a comprehensive review for the board exam for NURSE ANESTHESIA. I am taking the big quiz in 2 weeks and have been studying SB/MM in addition to Morgan & Mikhail. I have been hearing that there is some very pertinent information coming out that source.

I am graduating next month from CRNA school. I was accepted to 2 schools with a 3.02. What I lacked in GPA was made up for in practical experience. I had been out 8 yrs before starting. Just talk to the school, feel them out. Most schools are willing to level with you before you go too far.
