  1. Quite frankly I don't understand students like that. Playing her game boy and showing up late. What the **** just don't show up then if you find the class that much of a hassle to you. I'm sure someone else would love to have your spot.
  2. What the usually GPA is it like macomb in which you need a 4.0 in your preqs to be in that 225.
  3. So it's doesn't roll over from the previous years students? How many students do they accept each year?
  4. How long is the wait list for OCC if you are trying to get into the priority I status?
  5. OU used to do the same thing...They charged us a fee for the student workout area ($60 if I remembered correctly)...So many students complained about it they eventually dropped it.
  6. I feel ya, changingcareer. I'm doing the same thing now. Good luck in the hunt.
  7. But what kind of nurses does that produce. It's like a pre-med just going pre-med not because he really wants to be a doctor just because he's in it for the money.
  8. Well I saying admission should be based on the pre req's instead of the last 12 credits...Pre req's are there for a reason they are basis of what all our other classes on based on. Just my two cents on the issue.
  9. I believe it. I'm thinking about switching schools right now. I think the system is really messed up and nothing can be done to fix it till these changes are made. I'm not in the mood to waste money on underwater basketweaving just to get into the program. I just had a baby and I have enough bills to pay.
  10. Nice Job Linux..:) Those are some hard classes...The problem I see and I think Macomb needs to change is someone can take all fluff classes and get a 4.0 and get in while someone takes all the hard classes and doesn't...I just don't think it's fair...just my two cents...
  11. There was over 800 applicants this year and only 120 where taken into the program. The rankings were awful...since the last I heard was if you scored above 90 on the hesi and at least had a 3.5 gpa you would be golden. I guess 800 applicants was just too many. Oh well...Good luck and congrats to the ones that got in. Looks like there is going to be 680 people that are going to get their sad rejection letters and have to start over again. Such is life...
  12. Well I went it wasn't good... I didn't get in... :'( Looks like I'm going to have to try for next year if I just don't go back to OU.
  13. Where did you go to ask? Cause I want to know if I got in or not.. Michelle
  14. Hi everyone: Who hasn't received their letter yet on the decision for the nursing program? I know a group of you have but I'm wondering who hasn't yet. Michelle
  15. I hope I get my letter soon... and I hope I got in...I had a 3.6 gpa and 91 on the HESI...I just hope that was good enough... Michelle
