hi suzanne.. i just wanna ask something about the payment of the NCLEX fees. i know that i can have my relatives in states to pay the fees and send my application to Board of Nursing. my question is, if my aunt mailed my application, will the reply be mailed to me here in the philippines or to my aunt? please help me with my simple querry..thank you!

hi babysmiley..how are you today?i have another question for you regarding fingerprint card..how many cards am i supposed to request to the BON in CA..i know that only one is needed but some applicants have had problems on their fingerprint cards that they have to request for another and go through the process of getting their fingerprints done which further delayed their application..would it be okay if i request for two cards and get my fingerprint on it(both cards)..pass one fingerprint card to the BON and have the other one as a reserve in case problems may arise..what do you think? how about the payment, i mean the fees required in the application..it states there that application is 75 USD, one fingerprint card is 32 USD..so if i will request for 2 cards, i will have to pay 139 USD including the application (75+32+32 USD).. i know im asking the obvious but i just wanna make sure.. my last question is that how will i pay the fees..i know it wouldnt be cash..i actually dont know how..please help me..i will highly appreciate your answer..

hi to everyone! just a bit curious..betweeen US and UK, which has a better compensation to nurses..(i mean financially)..ive been asking this to my friends but they dont have any idea how much euro is paid to an entry-level nurse in UK..i know that an entry level nurse in US is paid about 30 to 4o dollars depending on his experience etc.. and a friend told me that in UK, there's a high standard of living..thats why most nurses want to go to US.. i hope UK nurses out there can clear up my querries... thank you for any reply you can impart..:smilecoffeecup:

hi everyone..does anybody know the steps in obtaining a green card?i am a nurse in the philippines..i just passed the IELTS and will apply for NCLEX in vermont next month..i want to work in CA though..i know that in order to have a green card, i need to have an employer in CA to petition me..but i dont know how or where to find an employer in CA. i dont even have an idea of the things that the employer might require me to pass..please help..

i have another question regarding vermont application..is fingerprint card needed or a requirement in the NCLEX application in vermont? i read their 5-page acrobat instructions and forms but i havent seen a fingerprint card in the requirement..i just wonder y??

im puzzled..if i am licensed in Vermont but i want to work in CA, i just have to do the endorsement, find an employer in CA and work on the immigration stuff so i can get to CA?please correct me if im wrong..assuming that im correct, what should be the first thing to do..find an employer or do the endorsement?please help me with this..thank you for any reply..

hi lawrence!!i just recently learned that i passed the IELTS:roll!! i havent applied yet for NCLEX because i dont know where to apply..either CA or VT..maybe i will just apply for the visa screening when im sure that i can sit for the NCLEX next year.. can i have your advise..i dont know where to apply for NCLEX..i want to work in CA but they said its easier if i try VT..im puzzled and i dont know what to choose!!please help me..

if i am going to apply in vermont for NCLEX..it would mean that i will be licensed in vermont if i pass the NCLEX..after passing nclex there and having the license, i will apply for visa screening..after giving the required documents, they'll issue me the visa screen certificate..but before i could have a green card, i should have an employer in vermont(since i am already licensed there)..once i have an employer to petition me and work on the immigration stuff, i can then go to vermont. i am expected to work in vermont because i have an employer who petitioned me..so i have to work there first before i can do the endorsements or else i will be sued for breech of contract.. thats what i think of what will happen if i try vermont and do the endorsement to california upon stepping on that state..thats why im so eager to know if i should work in vermont and finish the contract first before i can do the endorsement..please correct me if my thoughts are incorrect.. thank you for any corrections and informations you guys can impart..

hello everyone..i would really love to work in California but my friends advised me that i apply in vermont because processing of NClex application there is quite faster and it doesnt require SSN compared to california. then i will just apply for licensure by endorsement later.. my question is..do i have to work in vermont for quite sometime before i can apply for licensure by endorsement?you see, CA is really my choice but it would take years before i can get there so im planning to try vermont..please advise me whats the best thing to do. would it take me longer if i apply in vermont because i have to work there first before i can do the endorsement? your answers will be highly appreciated!

hello suzanne!hello to everyone!..i have taken IELTS last Nov.4 and im still waiting for the results. i am planning to take a apply and review for NCLEX after i get to know the results..my question is..is it possible to apply for visa screening even if i don't have the results of IELTS yet and im not yet done with NCLEX application?Does anyone know the steps in going through the visa screning? help!!!
