  1. :) you're actually right!! but to some nurses...Their nursing career could make their family rich...u But I know how hard it is...u God bless you always.
  2. Sorry but you made me laugh a little about your response to the explosion? Did the nurse really believed that only his toes where burn if it happens to be a "meth explosion"? I guess that patient is hiding something about how he really got that burn...for it's very intriguing!!! Anyways, all hospitals wants to show up their abilities that sometimes they wont swallow their prides and keep on saying that they are doing their very best even if the last best that they can give is to swallow their pride and offer a much better way of healing from other specialized hospitals...and mostly nurses are carrying the burden because we see and care for the patient everyday... I guess you will just have to pray for a miracle... Just give your best and maybe he will be healed by your prayers and sincere care... With God nothing is impossible...
  3. Dont' worry... Leave it all to God... He has mush better plans for us. I know you are anxious but you must overcome it and try to cope up with it... The 5th time will drive you crazy but as what they have said, you must stay focus or else it will pull you down... I will pray for you and leave it all to God... enjoy life for it's a gift and it should not be affected by any failures...Failures should help you become strong and not destroy you...and keeping you hoping for a better happenings in life...Keep trying and moving on...take care..
  4. Is it still a nursing job? well, maybe to some nursing can't make them rich but to some it did. But it's up to us actually on what we want to think about nursing........ Glad that you have a husband helping you... I hope you will be happy in your new job... God bless you then...
  5. Wow!! I guess if we will all look at nursing not as a profession that could make us rich but a profession that could reach out people who needs help, love and care then I guess it wont be a heartache if you can see someone very happy...right? We should not allow money buy our happiness....only a brave heart can survive nursing....
  6. I guess you're right....People with a brave heart can only survive nursing....
  7. Another thing to keep in mind that it becomes harder to get health insurance as you get older. If you have any gap...i.e. from now until you turn thirty, it'll get tougher. Believe me, it's tough to be without insurance. Just this past year I was able to get it through my job, but in order to keep it, I will have to work full-time while I go to school. True, I am twice your age... this is really true!!!...
  8. hehehe....yeah!!! kind a cold thing to think that's why we must not only think of money and kill ourselves by working just to have it...we also must think of how to take good care of our body while earning money...right? well, it either you will let money control you or you will control your own money....happy with much money but early death or having enough money with happiness until death... it's up to us right? God bless you feloww RN...think twice of your plans in life...
  9. If your telling us that 60hrs a week without a day break for 11mos..would be more than getting burn out but it's suicide... you will difficulty reach 40yrs old healthy... And it won't be enough to save for your future... of course you have your needs too and you need enjoyments that needs money to stress out youself... If you plan to have a family or helping your love ones in the future then that range of your working time is not realistic enough to save the money that you need... But on the other hand...that could be possible to achieve if you will focus on yourself alone and never give help to those who need financial support if ever there are any..and have self control like having fun without using a little money and become a workaholic... you can surely achieve that goal... but staying healthy with those traveling work and having no 24 hrs break in a week would be a big question mark??? you should prepare also yourself to die by then... but actually its up to you...God bless you in your decisions in life....Take care NURSE!
  10. I think you can be a good nurse.... you have the spirit! keep it up..... good luck
  11. Get over your fears and keep on trying.... If nursing is really God's intended course for you then you will have it... Just do your best and God will do the rest. We have a school here but this is not in USA... But I think there are still more schools in your place. Just do your part...aim high grades because it will show how far is your knowledge about what you have studied. not just aim to pass but aim high to learn more... that's one quality of a nurse... They always "sharpen the saw". Nursing is a continuous process of learning. they never stop studying even if they are graduates already. You have to do the same if you want to become a Full Pledge Nurse!!! Okey? God bless and good luck.....
