I do appreciate doctors that don't know it all, but we have some that don't know much at all..and then with an attitude say "what do you want me to do about it" and I've said "I don't know Doctor, what would you like to do about it. Thanks...great post.

I didn't bail...just been buzy :) Some lady named Bev swears by this, so I asked her to email me her records...that is what I am requesting for these high claims. She said she is going to scan them and then email them to me. She said she did not receive chemo or radiation and I believe she had stage IV cancer, but I could be wrong. Another lady swears by it as well and just emailed me. But, she did have surgery and Chemo, so her report I am not interested in. The Salve I use on my skin cancers isn't FDA approved and when asked why, they say it's because you need studies and studies would cost 1/4 million to get. I am not saying I understand how all that works and if everyone is telling the whole truth, but all I know is my skin cancer aint no more since I've been using this stuff for a couple years...and no, I don't sell it..but I tell everyone about it with a note- you can't claim a cure or treatment with a product that isn't approved by FDA, but you can share your testimony with anyone you want to. So, I won't tell you that it will cure you, but I will tell you it's found skin cancer that even the surgeon couldn't find (twice). I have pictures of my skin cancer surgical scars and then where the cancer started bleeding at the edges again...when I was told "edges clear"... and you know what you guys...?... I don't really mind if you don't agree, that's your choice to do whatever you want with your body. I am not an herbal fanatic at all. I am just trying to open my tunnel vision a bit to what God has placed on this earth for our bodies to fight and heal...that's all. I've seen my body heal with Penicillin, dust mite antigen (allergy shots) gluten free foods, fish oil for my triglycerides (along with exercise) milk thistle for liver enzymes elev, etc. So, I am not done believing that God just might have some better way to help fight our bodies with disease....maybe not...but I aint done keeping my eyes open either.

Look, I am NOT selling cottage cheese and flaxseed oil...but thanks for speaking for me. I think the best advice for studies would be as someone suggested here" have bev" show the reports and results. I think I will end this thread because I haven't heard one person who has tried it or knows of a pt who has tried it. I didn't open this to argue, I opened it to see if anyone had heard about it. So, I will go back to those people who are "claiming to be cured" and ask for their records...thanks for the advice. I am done with this one. I am waisting too much time and energy and we're not getting anywhere..but thanks all

DPHRN- I am sorry to hear that. Could you give me more of a history? What type of cancer, stage, chemo/radiation? Yeah, wasting all of ones money for nothing isn't the route I'd ever want to take no matter what the treatment. I personally believe there is a lot about food that we still don't know. I mean, just look at avoiding celiac disease by avoiding gluten. People who wouldn't have known about this would call someone crazy. I think our bodies have more of a healing capability then we realize, but we don't take care of it or keep it balanced to allow the body to fight off disease.

I agree there is a lot of wack out there. But I'll bet that the number of FDA approved meds haved killed just as many. And isn't it funny that alcohol and Tylenol have caused many deaths and they haven't been pulled? I don't know that I believe the whole cottage cheese thing so fast either, but I will stil be willing to listen to folks. I myself have not seen the deaths you talk about with holistic treatment and in my area, it's been wonderful. But, we all see things differently. Thanks for sharing.

Again I say....We have Cigarrettes that have a warning on the label that they cause cancer...and they are not pulled off the shelf?? If that doesn't smack you all in the face, I don't know what will?

KM, you ask me why aren't oncologist's working with me? For what? I just found out about this CC/FO yesterday for goodness sake! I wanted to start off by asking any nurses if they'd seen postive or unsuccess....remember?? But, like I said, if 50 people write me with Stage IV cancers and now they're in remission....you bet I'll ask for their records and start speaking out LOUD...and until then I won't encourage it to my patients at all. I always respect my patients choice and their rights...and the Doctors for that matter. Really KM... this is cottage cheese and FlaxOil, it's not poison. If anything, this would give a malnurished ct. some added protein.

KM, wait until you have a doctor misdiagnose you several times and perform surgeries that didn't help....and nobody cares about studies at that point do they??. My skin cancer was diagnosed as a "pimple" and it went on for 6 months. Thank God I switched Doctor's!!!

Excuse me Kevin...I've never told my patient's there is a better way. But, I am a patient advocate.

I have about 5 hours overtime/week on average. I work in Home Health and there is TONS of paperwork.

Dr. Barrett also thinks Chiropractors are quacks...Give me a break.
