  2. Hi, anybody here with Priority date Oct05?
  3. Hi, most of us here are in the same boat. I'm into the second wave of case completion at NVC. One was last sept. 2007 and the second was last june 12th of this year. I was asked to submit DS230 thrice since 2005. First week of March this year, the NVC voice prompt requested for my updated DS230 so i send in the documents to my lawyer immediately. But sadly, the NVC request letter reached my lawyer just in the 3rd week of May so that was the only time that my updated DS230 was resubmitted. On June 9 , the NVC voice prompt said they received my documents and on the 12th it was case complete (for the second time). My wish now is to get an interview even if no visa is still available. I have 4 co-nurses who had their embassy interview last may26, june4, june17, & 19 who till now has not received their visas......atleast they're more than halfway through. Let us just update each other. My PD Oct.2005
  4. Thanks God! a lot of our PDs now has finally become current.... hope all us will rejoice soon. hope hope hope.......
  5. To: Bettyboop..... congratulations. I am so happy for you. Finally it is done after a very long wait. To : agp_ph and fruity... let us keep you posted.
  6. hi all posts here are highly appreaciated ! thanks for keeping this thread lively . voice prompts from "no visa availability" to "the lawyer will receive information in the next 90 day" has been changed to "we are awaiting for the biometric report from the lawyer" as per inquiry at nvc minutes ago. ohhhh here we go again......i thought it was all done on july last year :) :) well..... no instructions yet has been received by my laywer so i guess i will just ready my ds230 as well as the renewal of my nbi clearance which is due to expire on july 2008. pd: oct. 2005
  7. from precy: hi how to you check your case in nvc. what # should be dialed? hello precy, you should have a case number first to be able to access the phone inquiry. the 10 digit case number was assigned to me by nvc when my petition for immigrant was approved. since my country of origin is philippines, my case number starts with mnl2006_ _ _ _ _ _ (manila). you have to use a touch phone to be able to connect. i tried my pldt line but i can't connect so i used my cellphone. 1. dial 001-603-334-0700 ( you will be welcomed by nvc) 2. after a recording instruction dial 112 3. after a recording instruction again dial mnl or 665 4. a recording instructs you to press 1 5. then enter your 10 digit case number & a pound sign ex: 2001 556 098 # 6. a recording is heard again then press 1 7. you will hear now the voice prompt regarding your case tip: you need not wait for the instructions to be finish to key in the vital numbers. this is to save cost in your call time.
  8. With the previous months, the voice prompt that I always receive from NVC was the visa inavailability of my case. Today it has changed to: "The lawyer will receive information in the next 90 days". My priority date is October 7, 2005
  9. I personally called and emailed the nevada state board of nursing to check what is best for me to do....since i stated that I would be coming anytime(before retro took effect) and I was advised to renew my membership with them. I also sent and paid again my fingerprinting cards with the Nevada Highway Patrol since this will take 4 long months. I want to start working immediately when I get there that is why I tried settling everything while still here. Just so sad I am stuck again. Till now after my visa fee bill payment last june, the barcoded DS-230 has not been received yet by my petitioner. I wondered if I will still be issued one when VISA numbers has already been consumed by the AOS.
  10. My best friend and her family just had their GCs, too, and their PD is October 2006. They gain entrance to US via tourist visa. I am happy for them yet sad for me and my family whose PD is Oct. 2005. I too have my tourist visa together with my family however, I was ill advised and opted for a consular processing. Now I can't go on AOS since my CP is active. I.m stuck in limbo.
  11. Hi i took mine also march 2005 (Nevada state). Since my license will never be released not until I have my SSN, I pay $100 every year to the NSBN-nevada just to keep it current.
  12. jrhyle.... thanks
  13. Yes, I have an employer(who never spent a centavo for me.... hope and pray I'll be refunded). My PD is september 2005...NVC case approved oct.2006. visa fee bill paid june 22, 2007. May I know if there is a way where i could personally keep track of my nvc case? thanks
  14. Hi, after reading all your posts, i knew that there is no visa available yet for EB3. I just wondered why NVC made me pay my VISA FEE BILL. I just paid it last June 22, 2007 and i also sent my updated DS-230 per lawyer's request thru fed-ex last week. I dont want to hope until october'07. Everything is so frustrating.
  15. Hi, my petitioner gave me my NVC case number last November. Things were left unclarified to me coz I was informed that I don't have a visa fee bill yet. What is really the correct sequence? NVC case no. first, then visa fee bill, DS-230 , then approval. Do I have the correct sequence? Please help me clarify things. Thanks
  16. Hi, nothing really beats self determination. I am a second courser with BSbiology as my first course. I took the NLE (june2004) at age 40 while 5 months pregnant. Two months after giving birth(viaCS), I took the CGFNS exam. On March of the following year I took the NCLEX exam in Hongkong. Because of my unstable pregnancy and full breast feeding schedules I became so insecure of having no attendance to any review center, so, I made it a point that while on bed rest, I have nothing on hand but books and my laptop for the practice exams. I am an avarage student and finished my nursing course from a so-so institution. If I passed all the exams with just self determination as my only tool, I guess you can also make it.
  17. Hi , Igot my MNL2006XXXX case number last November 2006. What's the next thing I would expect? Thanks.
  18. Hi, February '07 VISA Bulletin is posted already. There are 50,000 recaptured visas for Shedule As again? what does this mean, retrogression is lifted now?
  19. Hi, my Visa category of schedule A was replaced with E3 because there is no more VISA allocation for the latters' category. Since E3 processing per visa bulletin is still at august 2002, what does this mean? That I have to wait till 2002-2006 listings to be accomodated before I will be served or If retrogression is over in a month or two ..... an automatic readjust of E3 to SheduleA will take effect? Any idea? Thanks
  20. To Monroe.....thanks. I will contact my petitioner now and ask a copy of my approval notice. Thanks for the info.
  21. hi , this thread has really helped me a lot since my petitioner never gave me the liberty to talk to the lawyer who handled my case just even a bit. somehow, i learned a lot of things and i'm given peace of mind. this my cp timeline: credential evaluation service - november 17, 2004 cgfns - march 9, 2005 nclex - march 21, 2005 ielts - may 26, 2005 visa screen - august 11, 2005 case category : ex-schedule a processing center: vermont uscis i-140 filed : september 28, 2005 uscis notice of receipt (eac# xxx) : october 11, 2005 1. notice requesting for additional evidence : november 29, 2005 response received : february 29, 2006 2. notice requesting for additional evidence : march 28, 2006 response received : june 1, 2006 3. notice requesting for additional evidence : july 14, 2006 response received : october 2, 2006 uscis i-140 case approval : october 24, 2006 uscis case written notice returned undeliverable : november 8, 2006 i got stucuuuck for sooooo loooong and everytime i ask my petitioner, i am only told that i am unlucky enough to have my papers at uscis assigned to a meticulous consul. well, :chuckle my case has been approved anyway, but the question now is how long would they put me in limbo again :roll. please help ......my dates of filling and nor (sept.28 & oct.11, 2005) differ compared to the rest of you here who got the same. which date would i consider for the retrogression cut-off-date? i need clarification. thanks and thanks and thanks.:)
  22. Hi, it is not the end of the world. Keep trying surely you can do it next time. Just read and read and read. Just don't loose hope.
  23. Hi, I am a medical school dropout years back. I then became a housewife (a mother of three) for 16 years before I decided to enter the school of nursing. It just came to a point where everything seemed routinary.......... fetching my kids to and fro school, cleaning the house, gardening, cooking, baking, bathing my pet dogs, swimming twice a week and go scuba diving once a week and all the other tiny household jobs. All seemed routinary until one day when my best friend dropped by and invited me to enroll to the school of nursing. My husband gave a BIG NO for the nursing school idea and this challenged me more to insist on entering the program. I am a nurse now and I never regret joining the nursing profession. It has so many challenges and never have I found any dull moment since then.

  25. Hi, this is just a tip. It worked on us. All of us made it on the 75th item and it might worked on you too. 1. ASAP ( Always Say A Prayer) 2. Aim for 75 3. Don't be in haste and time pressured, go SLOW, SLOW, and SLOWWWW (You have 360 minutes to consume. Finishing 75 items in 6 hours won't matter) 4. Always use your scratch pad if needed ( It is not for computation only, you can re-phrase and re-phrase the question so many times on your scratch pad until you really understand the question) 5. You can also ask for some ear plugs if needed ( your neighbors' key pads are sometimes irritating) 6. Watch out and be on guard if a subject matter is being asked again for the second time....you must be wrong in that topic and the computer knew your weakness and this can be your pitfall. 6. Keep your poise and sit properly your video monitored. 7. Stay cool , calm, and focused 8. @ item 75, before pressing the enter key, breath deeply, relax for awhile and pray that the computer will stop. c."$
