A&P 1, how detailed?
I can't thank you enough for the Dr. Cizaldo podcasts. I am downloading right now and so far they sound great. Thank you again.:wink2:

Just getting started
I am so glad I found this thread. I am also starting my pre-reqs in the Fall. Because I only need Micro, two Chem classes and A&P I am going to do it one at a time. I am also a single mom to a 14 year old developmentally disabled child and I am ready for this new challenge. I only plan to take one class per semester because I need to work full time (need to pay loans from my BS degree in Health care Mgmt). I currently live in the East Bay in CA so it would not only be great to chat with other starting pre-reqs this fall but also with others in the same area. Can't wait to get started. Good luck to all

Nutrition, Pharm or Developmental Psych class online
I currently reside in the East Bay and I am wondering if anyone took Nutrition, Pharmacology or Developmental Psych online. I am hoping to begin taking pre-reqs in the fall but would love to start this summer with either one of these three courses online. Thanks for your help.

Anyone took pre-reqs at Diablo Valley College
Thank you so much for your recommendations. I will look for those professors when I begin to take my pre-reqs this fall. Can you please tell me what nursing programs did you apply to that took the courses offered at DVC? Thank you again.

Anyone took pre-reqs at Diablo Valley College
Hello everyone: I am wondering if anyone took any of their pre-reqs at DVC? If you did can you recommend a professor and your suggestions? I need to take Anatomy, Physiology, Micro, and Developmental Psychology. Thank you in advance for your help. :nuke:

Which program in the East Bay do you recommend
Hello everyone: Just a brief background. I have a BS in Health care Mgmt and I need to take Micro, Anatomy and Physiology before I apply to a program. I am also a 36 years old single mom to a developmentally disabled 14 year old. Because I recently relocated from the East Cost I don't qualify for state tuition until August so I hope to take my pre-reqs until the fall. My question is what programs do you recommend in the east bay? I would want to do the Associate program but the ABSN program would also be great if I can get in. I hear the UCSF program is great but I can imagine how difficult it must be to get in. Also any recommendations on where I can take these pre-reqs would be great. Thank you for reading and for your help. :nuke:

What nursing school did or are you attending?
Wanted to know if anyone has attended or is attending the NYU 15month nursing program. Currently I am finishing up my BS in healthcare mgmt and expect to finish Summer 07. After that I would still need to take microbiology, nutrition, and A&P. I want to know about the grades you had on your pre-reqs and your GPA from your prior degree. Also how the program is? Thank you in advance for your help.

Statistics
I am also taking stats this semester and I just had my first class today. I am also a bit scared about this course, because numbers and me are not best friends. The professor seemed very nice and approachable. It does seem like its mostly memorizing forumlas and plugging in numbers, but who knows, only time will tell. If anything we can try to help each other out this semester.
