  1. I told him not to drink the medicine in the little green bottle.
  2. Good luck in getting your nursng license back, if that's what you want. I had three years clean and had my nursing license back for almost two years when I relapsed with alcohol and lost my nursing license again. Thanks to God and a good recovery program I have over four years clean and sober this time and have had my nursing license back for almost three years. I will finish my contract with the NCBON, God willing, in 2 1/2 months! You can accomplish anything you put your mind to and effort into if you stay clean and sober.
  3. As you progress in your recovery you will learn about resentments and how to let go of old feelings. I agree you should be grateful you were not arrested. I was charged with two felonies for diverting narcotics. I have a friend in recovery who was arrested and hand cuffed in her small town drugstore when she tried to use a forged prescription. Work on your recovery and don't worry about why this other person did what they did. Everything happens for a reason, I believe.
  4. since you have eight years of recovery, you should be able to use the things you are learning in recovery to deal with nursing situations as well as other life situations that stress you. Have you talked to a sponsor about how to deal with things at work? Please take care of yourself no matter what. It is more important that you stay in recovery than that you stay in nursing.
  5. I use First Lab in NC and I test about twice a month and the cost is $50 plus the testing fee at the lab. Also to longhornfan1,it had been almost a month since I had been selected to test and I got worried so I called First Lab and sure enough there was a computer "glitch" and I had been kicked out of the system. You might want to check on this,
