Occupational therapy
:welcome: hi, what is otr? and do you need lot of schooling to become ot aide? or ot assistant? i understand aide is different from assistant. why would they need occupational therapist if there is nurses who would do same things? i am totally confused !! :uhoh21:

pacify or orientate? Alzheimers...
I came upon this thread while wandering on allnurses.com. I think this is really informational (like most of the threads on this www). I have heard about alzheimer disease but have never actually beind close to one. My grandmother at 90 y/o was as sharp as a cookie up till the moment she passed away. The only thing was she occasionally wandering out in the neighbor and forgot her way home, i don't know if that is alzheimer, or jsut forgetfullness.

Anyone a Phlebotomist?
EricEnfermero, thanks:paw: . I am choosing Phlebotomist because it is the fastest training you can get to work in a hospital, and by so far doesn't cost an arm and a leg! Do you have any scary story to relate?
