  1. :welcome: hi, what is otr? and do you need lot of schooling to become ot aide? or ot assistant? i understand aide is different from assistant. why would they need occupational therapist if there is nurses who would do same things? i am totally confused !! :uhoh21:
  2. I came upon this thread while wandering on allnurses.com. I think this is really informational (like most of the threads on this www). I have heard about alzheimer disease but have never actually beind close to one. My grandmother at 90 y/o was as sharp as a cookie up till the moment she passed away. The only thing was she occasionally wandering out in the neighbor and forgot her way home, i don't know if that is alzheimer, or jsut forgetfullness.
  3. SO? what happens next? Did the worms do any harms to the body of thewoman? :chuckle
  4. What is a prolapsed UTERUS? is the U still inside? How does that happen? too many childbirths?:penguin:
  5. Me too! I am starting Phlebotomy class soon, but the stories in this thread really gross me out. I wonder if i have courage to go on? Now i undertand what nurses endure.
  6. EricEnfermero, thanks:paw: . I am choosing Phlebotomist because it is the fastest training you can get to work in a hospital, and by so far doesn't cost an arm and a leg! Do you have any scary story to relate?
  7. :monkeydance: Hello, i am in the same boat. I am about to engage in a phlebotomy class. If any one in the profession could give some feedback on the work of a phlebotomist, i would appreciate! :wink2:
