No prob but i think my link is broken anyway..the source is google books and the book is called "good practices in preventing patient falls" look on page 51 it mentions the national benchmark but i think it was published in 07...good luck!

I know what you are saying...I feel the same way, especially with the GNT tasks. I do try to put 1or 2 references in though because I am afraid to turn a paper in without any.

Well I have been printing the chapter summaries but I will look for the study guide. I want to schedule mine for the last saturday in October so I am hopefully done with that by Nov 1st. Taskstream takes so long to grade the papers that I am not sure if I will reach the goal of finishing NVT2 by Nov 1st. Especially if I need to revise anything. Good luck next Monday!!!

I am also taking nutrition and I am unable to find pre assessment for it. I was told (by my mentor) if there is no pre assessment listed on your degree plan there there is not one available. The COS does seem like a circle but after each chapter I have been doing the quizzes and other activities that are in the course compass. I also am printing the chapter summaries out to study from as well. After I take the quiz at the end of the chapter, I print it so I can use it as a study guide and to go back and look at which ones I got wrong and study that material over. I am hoping to finish by the end of the month. If you do find a pre assessment let me know. Has anyone finished NVT2 yet? I got my first paper back and had to revise so I am bummed but hey, its the first paper I have done in years i am hoping my paper writing skills will come back to me.

well I submitted my first task to taskstream..I am not feeling very confident about it though...it took me over 5 hours to write!..how long do you usually wait for things to get graded??

Facebook group would be great!...I am going to write task 1 for nvt2 tomorrow night..I am not up in taskstream yet so I am unable to submit it until at least tomorrow night.... The webinars for the tasks are so great! If anyone hasn't seen them check them out, they give so much helpful info...hope everyone is doing well...

working on NVT2...only thing is nothing up in taskstream yet..My mentor said 3 days from aav approval...lots of interesting reading though..

Has anyone not personally spoken with their mentor yet?? please tell me I am not the only one. I just got an email telling me I will be part of a conference call on Monday. I really want to start and that will mean this entire week was wasted time for me.

thats great Tarro!!!...I just got an email from mine today..I cannot speak with her until Monday and it is going to be a conference call with other students...did anyone else have their first experience with their mentor via conference call??? I am trying to be calm and see what happens...

I am just starting module 3.. I started at 1pm and its 5 here now.. i took a couple of breaks but this is definitely longer and more info than i thought...No word from my mentor yet either but at least I know her name now...well back to the salt mines....good luck everyone!!!

Well it seems I will not be hearing from my mentor until "next week" sometime (per my enrollment counselor)...I guess its ok as I have to finish EWB but I was hoping to just get that done saturday and Monday be started on my first class...anyway, I am trying not to be so anxious. So if anyone has not heard from a mentor yet just know you are not alone..
