Where I work, we have holiday teams that we are all assigned to. It is a 3 year rotation, so you know when you work. This year I get Christmas off. I already know this, so I already made my plans. Your manager sounds like she needs to be out of management!!!

I agree. This isn't the Hilton! I work in OB and the patients ask me how are they going to pay for their formula! Should have thought of that 9 months ago when you "forgot" to take your pill. Also, there is a way to feed your baby! They are attached to your chest! I'll just keep smiling & biting my tongue!

You should cut the pit back if coupling, etc. Putting pit up is the the old way of thinking. Always have a reassuring FHR with good variability. Hope you enjoy L & D. I have for over 32 years & still LOVE it!

I went to nursing school in Springfield, Mass. & we called them johnnies. When I moved to Ohio, I also got strange looks when I asked where the johnnies were. Out here, they are just called gowns. Our pads are called chux.
