  1. Where I work, we have holiday teams that we are all assigned to. It is a 3 year rotation, so you know when you work. This year I get Christmas off. I already know this, so I already made my plans. Your manager sounds like she needs to be out of management!!!
  2. I agree. This isn't the Hilton! I work in OB and the patients ask me how are they going to pay for their formula! Should have thought of that 9 months ago when you "forgot" to take your pill. Also, there is a way to feed your baby! They are attached to your chest! I'll just keep smiling & biting my tongue!
  3. Congrats to all of you going to nursing when you are older! I applaud you. It is not easy going to school later in life. Welcome to all of you.

You should cut the pit back if coupling, etc. Putting pit up is the the old way of thinking. Always have a reassuring FHR with good variability. Hope you enjoy L & D. I have for over 32 years & still LOVE it!
  5. I went to nursing school in Springfield, Mass. & we called them johnnies. When I moved to Ohio, I also got strange looks when I asked where the johnnies were. Out here, they are just called gowns. Our pads are called chux.
