TWU Spring 2009
Hello! I know everyone is anxious and impatiently waiting... so I thought I would answer few questions... BTW, I'm not a nursing student, but I do have friends in TWU program. I'm not sure about a waiting list, but they do admit students for part-time status. When there's a spot open, they give that full-time status to part-time students. I have a friend who was offered a spot as part-time, and about 2 weeks before the semester started, they called him and offered him the full-time spot. I think his GPA was a little higher than 3.7, but he didn't do pre-reqs at TWU. I hope this helps! Good luck to everyone!

North Lake/El Centro - Fall '06!
I won't be surprised when they start adding interviews for application process. Most of health care fields are getting more competitive... I know pharmacy school is way more competitive this year than last year...

Yes... and I think they had to look at the NET score too since too many people had the same GPA...

I didn't like the videos at all! They were made like 100 years ago! LOL I studied just the lecture packet. The test questions were somewhat tough, but I pulled an A! I guess if you do well in lab, it'll be okay...

Was that question for me?!? I'm going to answer it anyway.. hehe... I took it Fall of 2004 at Mountain View... It was a half telecourse program. Lecture was through a series of videos, and I only went in for the lab stuff.

I don't mean to jump into your conversation, but I just wanted to add a little comment. I took Microbiology with Ms. Silva, and she's great!!! She can be little tough on lab stuff, but you'll like her! Oh... the "unknown" part of the lab is the hardest!

North Lake/El Centro - Fall '06!
Hello!!! I'm not a nursing student, but I have a few questions about North Lake/El Centro AD program... My boyfriend is applying for Spring 2007... I was wondering what the stats were like for other applicants. I've heard the minimum pre-requisite GPA was like 4.0..., and how many support classes do you need? He does have a 4.0 pre-requisite GPA, but he has only 13 hours of support classes with 3.2 GPA. Does he have a chance of getting in?!?
