Sleepless in Quebec
Hmm when i studied for NCLEX-RN i did focus pretty much on KAplan's basics and Kaplan's course book and i also did a lot of cd practice tests from kaplan, mosby, and saunders but personally i think Kaplan best suited me:P Somehow it depends upon the person himself i mean like if ur confident enough to study this certain book from a certain author then it would most definitely help u. As we nurses are aware the brain is very powerful so it also helps if u've set ur mind on one book telling urself that "this book is the book for me":) This really worked for me my computer shut off at 75 when i took mine. Good luck on yours and God bless

Passed With 75!
congratulations i had like 5 innovative questions when i took my 75 item exam..i think the more u get those type of questions the harder ur questions are getting so the more likely that you would pass NCLEX-RN happy new year and God bless to all of u

The Secret behind Passing California NCLEX-RN at 75
The title most definitely made a lot of u want to open this I just wanted to share to all of u my secret. I am not saying that it is that easy to pass NCLEX-RN at 75. I was very scared when mine did. I took nclex-rn last aug. 17, 2006 and as u guys know results from cali board takes longer and it's agonizing. I really did my best with the test and reviewed well but that doesn't give u an assurance no matter how smart u are that u'd pass it. My secret was continous prayers. Just before i answered any of the exam questions i laid my hands on my monitor telling God to give me the best comprehension ability that I may not over analyze nor under analyze the questions. Then I switched my attention to the keyboard and asked God to make the values I type to be correct. I then held the mouse and asked Him to guide my hand in clicking the right answer. Asking God to be beside me all the way til the exam ends was my perfect weapon. Yes, I did get really difficult questions and everytime I did, I made it a point that "in Jesus name my answer will be correct." I kept praying a lot and believed that I will pass. A week ago i got my nclex result. God really is so good He did not just made me pass but He made me just answer 75 questions taking just 1 hour and 20 minutes. So for all of u in doubt with ur review and ur answers you just have to call and claim it in His name that you'll pass.

Computer shut off at 75....I feel sick...
yeh i so can;t blame u from feeling really sick after having the4 comp shut off at 75 coz when i took the california board recently last aug. 17 i also shut off at that number. the only thing i could say is for u to pray and who knows it might actually turn out for the better just like how mine did. God bless u and good luck
