Hi, I would much appreciate if someone could tell me which hospital in Las Vegas has the best reputation regarding:wages,benefits,locations,patient/nurse ratio etc. Moneywise,is it better to work as a travel nurse or it's better to get hired by the hospital. Thank you very much.

Hello California nurses, I work as a RN in Canada and have a big problem with getting a license, as Social Security Administration could not issue me a Social Security Number without a license and vice versa(the board of nursing could not issue me a license withouta SSN) . It's 'Catch22".Is there enyone out there who can help me with right information. Thank you.

Hi Kabin, I now about that web side but I have a 'Catch22' situation created where the Social Security Administration could not issue the SSN because I do not have a license.On the other side, Nevada Board of Nursing could not issue me a license until I get a SSN.I have spoken with one agent from a travel agency;she was aware of the situation but was not able to help me. I have no clue how to solve this problem and I am very frustated.I will be so thenkful to everyone who can help me in solving this situation. Thanks

Is there anyone who knows how to get a Social Security number. I live in Canada and going through Nevada board of nursing.Nevada wouldn,t issue me a license witout SS# and SS# office wouldn,t give me a SS# without a license.I do not know what I am going to do. Hi I am not from east coast but I work as an RN in Calgary. It is a very poular city and we need a lot of nurses. My advice to you is to go di rectly to any hospital and speak to managers before you go to a HR. You would be so welcome @RGH,Unit 82. Best of luck.

I am from Canada .Recently,I have been offered a job in Honolu at The Queen's to work as an RN. As a part of the offer was "a month free housing".Unfortunately I need it for 6 months. Does enyone know if it's reasonable to ask for free housing for 6 mo.How much approximatelly it would cost me to rent a studio at Waikiki beach, or how much it is for a shared accomodation.
