  1. As far as feeling like you are being treated like high school students I can sympathize. We had similar issues in my class and I found that it only got worse before it got better I am sorry to say. The fact of the matter is that some people are still in the mind set of high school students and some are just out of high school so I guess they are only acting their age. However, I found that if I minded my own business, tried to just get along with everyone, and worked hard on my studies everything worked out. Believe me this was not easy especially when we had assigned seat and other punishments but I want my license and if I have to be treated like a kid again to achieve that I will it is that important to me. Things will get better. As far as the transgender issue goes if the patients are getting the level of care they should be getting I also see no problem with it. Good luck hope everything works out.
  2. I can't say that I have any advice since I am finishing up with my LPN program this fall and will start my RN next fall. I guess I just wonder how much different the class load will be. So far the LPN part has not been a breeze but I have heard our class is being taught at the RN level, however true that is. Anyway as far as the ones who don't make it goes we started out with about 30 in our class and now have less that 20 so we have lost a few but most of them were not dedicated to doing the program provided that some of them had other things going on as well.
