  1. Hi, I'm glad that you did decide to work as a CNA as well before becoming a LPN. I've heard that most RN's and LPN's who've worked as CNA's first have better experiance's after they get their Licensure as Practical and Registered Nurses.:yeahthat:
  2. I can tell you that here in Phoenix AZ that I am just finishing up Patient Care Technician classes. It's a level above CNA but Below LPN. We are trained to insert Caths, draw blood, give injections, Accuchecks, Hematocrits, Sterile and non-sterile dressing changes, Etc etc. I also know that in San Diego there are some hospitals that have the same thing.   3. Hello. I'm Terri Babcock. I have been a CNA off and on since I was 18 (20 years ago and before CNA's had to be certified). I'm currently living in Phoenix arizona but am moving to San Diego soon. I will be finishing my PCT (patient Care Technician) school in Oct and plan on going on for my RN once I get to California.
