Some Tips and Advice for a 2nd courser

Hello KG21121, Thanks for the inputs. I guess my username speaks for the industry Im in right now and Im actually somwhere in Mandaue. Im 25 by the way, how about you, where do you work?....I see that you are really quitting your job and be a full time nursing student. I like the tought but what Im actually inteseted in doing is work and study at the same time, if possible. I have an officemate who's already taking her 1st sem in Cebu Doc said that it's really hard and she's already thinking of quitting her job. And this is what I wanted to do, work and study as long as I still can and quit my job when it's really needed. I mean, having an income of your own is a whole lot better than asking from your parents. Esp. that Ive been working for years now. TSK TSK TSK. On the other hand, if ever there's no way that I can work and study at the same time, the city that Im eyeing where Im gonna study is Davao. Its a pretty nice place and Ive heared that the schools are good, esp. in their special programs for second coursers.

Schools for 2nd coursers - BS Nursing

Dont dwell too much with the past man, gotta move on....this will just hold you back. Do you know someone in Davao, ask them...I tell you, its not as serious as you think it is.....

Than you so much for this. I will just worry about the NCLEX and the english exams when Im done with the course iself. Im just glad knowing the they still need nursing until 2020, but I hope they will not resort to measures that UK is taking right now. .....I guess I just have to dedicate my time and 110% of my effort on this since everything after I graduate with my BSN will be a make it or break it situation.

Can anybody blow this doubt off my mind.....Im thinking of taking up nursing as my second course or degree, but what Im most concerned about is..is graduating on 2009 too late for us to get a chance to get to the US? (loving the job isnt an issue coz Im pretty sure that I will). Thanks in advance.
  8. tnx...that was very helpful. I just hope that these programs are not just for medical/science related course graduates but even for computer related courses, engineering etc.
