  1. I am a new grad and just got my first job and I started out at 25/hr in PA.
  2. It never does cease to amaze me that students still think they are going to come out of an LPN program and jump right into their dream job. I know I just graduated and had to do some compromising. Some people fail to realize that you have to get out there and get some experience first. I know that I would not want a new grad working on me in the ER. NO WAY!!! There is still so much to learn once your out of school and to be honest on my first day of work I felt like I needed to go back to school for another year...lol....Take your time and look at all of your options!
  3. You should check into the RUE program. Just google search it. They have from LPN through RN master. It not online but it is home study and it is approved by the NLN.
  4. $35 application fee.....$35 Practice permit fee.....$200 pearson Nclex.....In PA...total $270!!
  5. I am a new nurse and I dont care if your new or experienced...that was funny!!!!!
  6. Had a pt come in and say "I'm not quite sure but I think something is coming out of my orifice." Don't know about you guys but I am very sure when something is coming out of my orifice!!!!!
  7. Hi, I sent in my application and then registered online with pearsonvue. I mailed my papers into the state on the 5th of july and got my ATT on 14th. Not to bad. The waiting is for the actual test date. The earliest I could get in PA is Aug. 9th.
