i have a hard time thinking that she makes anything near what an rn makes. I live in a very small town, (if you blink, you miss it), MA's here make around 10 and RN's around 22 when they first graduate.

First, I have never heard of a cna being able to give injections, maybe she was a medical assistant or a medication aid? Yes, she should wear gloves for her protection and your childs.

gloves should be worn anytime you may come in contact with any bodily fluids. Not so many years ago gloves weren't available like they are today so i can see where you might get confused on this one.

If it makes you feel any better I have seen this too. I just passed y nclex pn andhave to get another car cause we only have one right now but I also plan on having 100.00at the least taken out of my check and put in the union savings account because it is money i am not used to having anyway.

man i feel really sorry for u right now. that is awful for someone to do something like that and waste time and energy. what if another emergency had come up and resources were not as available because of her story. Where did she get twins from anyway if she wasn't preg.????? Weird i tell you.

A week after i started working on the PED floor at the hospital they decided to throw in a little extra. Now we also get all pts. on telemetry and none of us feel comfortable with this. There is no Tele. tech, and no one sitting and watching the tele screen at all times. Does this sound right at all. The only classes we are getting are two 8h days of class. We feel like this just isn't enough.

hi, I just recently graduated and am now working on the PEDS/elemetry floor at our hospital. It too is very small and all "bad" patients are shipped out. Most of our pts. are T & A's so they come from OR with their IV already in. Good luck on your decision. I Love it.

i attend southeast kentucky technical and community college systems and i love it although i am really getting sick of school. our program is called a career mobility program because you can tke your lpn boards after your first year and then only one more year for your rn.

i go on the 19th to take mine and am terrified. My instructors sent a web site to us that we could do some practice questions on and they are the hardest questions ever. I pray that we all pass first time.
