Haven't met a doctor I worked with that I liked. Mostly all jerks.. except for the short jewish docs.. lol don't know why but they all seem nice. Even if they were my type... I wouldn't do it. All of the hard work you do to get to get to the top will always be because you were dating the doc... no matter what.
  3. LOL.. I agree with RNINME.. Won't do it.. Can't make me. If you go the the BON website, I believe under where they list what LPN/RN responsibilities are, you might find it but if not the call the BON and they will tell you where to find it. They teach us a lot of things in nursing school that aren't play out "in real life" but there are several things that were taught, such give only what you draw... that will save your license.
  4. I too have plantar fasciatis, but was told by doctor that the crocs don't offer enough arch support. So I stopped wearing them but I am going back to crocks because they cusion my heel so well they don't hurt. I pulled 16 hour shift with no problem to my feet while wearing the crocs. I love them.
  5. I will check into the GPN, thing but I'm thinking beause I am unable to get licensed because of eligibility, it may not work. Plus the board says it may take longer than 3 months unfortunatly and I think that's as long as a temp license is for. I was will try to seek other position like techs though. Maybe at a plae that will hire me on as an LPN later. Thanks for your input everyone!!
  6. I am an LPN that just transfered to Texas. I have to wait 3 months to get a license because of eligibilty issues. (No narc stealing, drugs of abuse) Happend before I became a nurse and is minor but none the less, I am not sure what to do about a job. Are there any type of facilities, besides the VA which isn't hiring right now, that allows you to work on an out of state license?
