Brain death and refusal to remove life support
What about the case of the 13 yr old child, Ja hi McMath? She was legally declared and her family dug their heels in to keep her on life support. It seems that the patient, who had been declared, is not a factor. Which is why I think that the family is the people that we are hurting by not getting them to accept the fact that she is gone. This is why I say non-maleficience. Am I wrong still?

Brain death and refusal to remove life support
I am looking to understand which nursing ethics principles are being violated when a patient is legally brain dead and the family refuses to withdraw support. I feel that it is non-maleficience to the family. Would you agree or disagree?

Well, I took myself out to lunch & bought myself a purse, necklace, & some earrings before I took the test. I intend to get a Lippincott stethoscope & a name badge with my initials behind my name in the next week or so. Just got back from vacation.

Anyone else studying for CCRN exam?
Kimberlee Denise Bates RN,BSN,CCRN It was terrible!!! I got 111 correct answers with a passing score of 87 correct answers? Maybe the 111 is due to those 25 non-graded questions I got 33% on Renal which sucked! Cardio 93% Pulmonary 86% Endocrine, Hematology, Neuro & GI 100% Multisystem 90% Synergy 88%

Anyone else studying for CCRN exam?
I think that I am going to be taking the CCRN exam soon. :uhoh21: I am scoring around 73% on my practice tests from the pass ccrn cd & think that I will do ok on the actual exam but I am so worried that I may not pass. I have heard that the actual exam questions are not in the same format as the pass ccrn questions. Does anyone know if this is actually true or false?
