Hello--I am interested in Wolford as well. Do you mind sharing your GPA, GRE and nursing experience? My GPA is 3.3 for the last 60 credits, GRE 1700 (2001), I have 15 years of nursing experience and over a year and a half of ICU experience. What was the interview like? Thanks.

THAT IS A GOOD QUESTION. I WORK FULL TIME SOMEWHERE ELSE AND HAVE WORKED CASUALLY (PRN) IN ICU FOR 2 YEARS. IS THIS ACCEPTABLE?

Hello: I moved from OR to SICU. The ICU Director asked me if it was my goal to go to CRNA school and I was honest. She didn't have a problem with it. But--I have heard that in the past, some of the long term ICU nurses made comments about it.

Hello: I am an OR nurse (14 years). I started as a Scrub Tech. Now I work in SICU (1 year plus). I applied to a couple of schools last Fall and in the interviews, only 1 school seemed impressed with my OR experience. I played up my OR experience in my essay but I am not sure if that was a good idea. So--I am in your same boat. I think OR experience should be a plus but I am not sure if anyone else does.
