Anyone else doing the midnight creep???
I'm so glad that other people understand the midnight creep! My boyfriend kept telling me, "Just go to sleep." :uhoh21: Like if it was that easy to turn on and off, don't you think I would have been asleep all ready?

Anyone else doing the midnight creep???
You know, the one where your significant other is sleeping and you're too wired to go to bed....so you end up creeping around the house?? I should be in bed, but I just can't sleep. Too many thoughts are running through my head. Just had our first clinical of the semester and it was a doozy! Now I can't shut my mind off....

"HOW can you do that?!?"
When people first find out that I am in nursing school, I usually get the same question. My response is that we don't hesitate to wipe a baby's bottom, but for some reason it's not the same as wiping an elderly person's bottom. For me, they are one and the same. I believe that life comes full circle, we came into this world dependent on others care, and we will probably go out dependent on others care. That usually gives them something to think about.:)

Tall scrubs
I second the Dickies. They are the only tall scrubs that I found that are actually long enough and I'm just over 5'11". The worst feeling in the world for a tall girl is to walk around feeling paranoid about her ankles showing! I go through http://www.mynursinguniforms.com, they are sooo much better than allheart.com. Good luck with your search!

hyphenated last names?
Hi, I have a question. This may seem silly, but here goes. I've noticed at my nursing school, we seem to have an abundance of instructors with hyphenated last names. Four out of the five instructors listed on one of my papers had hyphenated last names. Someone told me that if you are single when you get your nursing license, that your maiden name always has to appear (since that was the only name listed on the license), hence the hyphenated last names. Is this true? Or am I just really gullible. My boyfriend thinks I just have a lot of really independent women for nursing instructors. If anyone can please help me out, I would appreciate it. This is really driving me nuts!!
