  1. Sure, keep them up. I don't care. Thank you by the way. ? Sure keep them up. Thank you. ?
  2. Apparently some employers are doing it now. They wanna see if you're healthy enough to do the job. Another employer asked me to lift, push, and carry 30 pound weights.
  3. I was honest and it wasn't as bad as I expected. Thank you so much for your response.
  4. Mine was vitals, flu shot, titers, bend, stretch, health questions, etc. It was easier than yours it sounds like. The best part of my physical was finding an aide with the best fingernails and now I've found the best place to get them done. Thank you so much. That's a physical I'd pass. LOL
  5. It was exactly as you said. I was honest and we will see. Supposed to start 10/26 if I passed. ?
  6. Thank you so much. I feel better.
  7. I have recently moved from Florida to Kentucky. I've been offered every position I have applied for. The position I want gave me an offer contingent on my physical. My concern is that I won't pass the physical due to my history of diabetes and back pain. My diabetes is managed very well with insulin, diet, and exercise and my back pain no longer exists due to radio frequency ablations. Does anyone out there have any input or experience with this? I'm concerned about failing the physical I have to take this Monday 10/19/20 at 2pm. Thank you.
  8. Amen. Thank you so much
  9. By the way they have travel anxiety and need medication. LOL
  10. Not. I have to prepare and sell my house. I was just thinking about my fur babies when posting. ?
  11. Yes within the last 3 years. Prior home health(2 yes) case mgr and prior to that hospital(8 yrs). Florida. Thank you
  12. I resigned without giving the required month notice because my husband's job is taking us to another state. I needed to sell my house and pack my things. Prepare the fur babies. Does not rehirable mean that I will not get the opportunity for employment or not be able to use my employer as a reference because of this? Would a potential employer refuse to hire me due to this? I am worried now and would like to know if anyone has any experience with this matter. Other than me not being rehirable I have nothing on my record/file. Concerned about the move and not being able to obtain employment in the new state. We are moving to a rural area where there is ONE hospital in the area and that is where I want to work. I left medical/surgical/orthopedic. I have neuro certification. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I hope all is well with everyone here today.
  13. Same here and that's exactly what I did. Thank you.
  14. Thank you. I just know she's litigious because she showed me the information from her lawyer when I went into her room and she was a legal assistant(I guess this is the name).
  15. This was a SPECIAL patient it's hard to describe but one response/poster said to look up Borderline personality and it makes a lot of sense now. I am an EXCLLENT nurse who follows policy based on best practice (evidence based practice).
  16. Thank you. I may use it to help/teach others if the opportunity arises.
  17. Thank you. All is well in my world. My manager never said one word to me about this. They know this patient
  18. Right on. Thank you.
  19. Thank you. Lesson well learned. I will not repeat this again(taking care of someone I know).
  20. Thank you. Your advice has been most helpful.
  21. Thank you. I have learned a lesson. This will NEVER happen again.
  22. Yes, I most certainly can. I work on a unit where one hall is med/surg and the other is orthopedic. The patient never has to take anything they don't want to. Of course if it's critical to their wellbeing I get them to sign a refusal form.
  23. Thank you. I will NEVER do this again.
