I have taken 2 N-Clex--PN and RN and I can tell you I walked out of both feeling as if I failed. Both times I was surprised and passed.

Many BONs have scholarships for LPNs going for their RN. Have you looked into this? Also, many hospitals (at least in my area) will help pay for your RN as long as you agree to work for them for a certain amount of time after graduation.
