  1. NGL, my recruiter ghosted me the entire time even when I tried to change my interview schedule. The recruiter sent me all three invites.
  2. did anyone get a call from apple valley yet?
  3. I'm dead I withdrew all my apps for hospitals I didn't interview with because I got annoyed 🤣🤣🤣
  4. I am so sorry to hear that :(! I've been applying for the past year and it is soooo extremely difficult. keep trying my love!
  5. I assume all the recruiters were fighting for you 😅!! Your background is amazing and it is without a doubt you will be amazing at St.Joseph!! 🫶
  6. Wow, three offers is insane! congrats! what unit was offered for st marys?
  7. st marys took mine st joseph gave it all back to me but anyways seems like they send offers 10 am-4pm ... hate waiting another day 😅
  8. also random question, did the interviewers take your portfolios during the interview for st joseph? they gave it back to me LOL
  9. I guess for St Joseph we are waiting on Pulmonary unit and MICU. If anyone knows anyone that received offers from here, please let us know 🤞 4/20 received offers, waiting on 2 units (they may have sent offers already)
  10. Haha, congratulations! Yeah, exact same thing happened last cohort where they got switched to not retained but received an offer! I'm glad you got one!
  11. LOL nvm I guess there's a lot of UCLA internals for st joseph 😭😭😭
  12. nahhh fr. I got a call from a number from 714 and it was a REAL PERSON and they said "wrong number" MY HEART BRO 😭😭😭😭😭
  13. ngl I think I'm going insane. I just need this suspense to end LOL. my screen time is insane bc all I do is constantly refresh my phone. ALSO these past couple of days I have been receiving a lot of spam calls and I NEVER get spam calls 😭 this is agonizing
  14. omggg I was looking thru ur posts and I am pretty sure I talked to u at 8 am xD u said u were ucla internal.... right?? im so happy for u :D my #1 was ICU but interviewed w imcu, float pool managers
  15. I'm so happy for u :,) seems like they're calling for unit... ahh 🤞 was it manager who called you or talent acquisition?
  16. congrats!! ahh waiting on them too!! what unit?
  17. did your portal happen to change as well? or still says under consideration?
  18. Go where your heart is! I ranked MICU as my #1 for st joseph bc I was a patient in their ICU when I was younger 🫶 totally feel the emotional pull aspect I did interview with the imcu manager and she said the units only been officially open for 2 years
  19. couldn't find their emails so I gave up. I chose nicu as my first even tho I don't have my NRP and my resume/CL is NOT nicu related at all. I was hoping to get an offer from st joseph and mission so I wouldn't have to move out there, but my interview at st marys was the best and I vibed well with the interviewers.... it seems that all these hospitals really value the #1 unit u chose 🤣 whoops
  20. nah fr. thinking about ccing everyone in the email LOL. jk 🤣
  21. if anyone can share light on apple valley st marys and if anyone gets an offer please let us know 🫶 I am kinda regretting how I ranked the units I wanted but whatever 🤣
  22. Hi yes! My friend currently works in the neuro ICU and I have had clinicals in the stepdown stroke unit at mission . she was a new grad in the ICU unit and went thru the tips program. she said mission hospital sets you up for success with the tips program and is a renowned for stroke patients. she said it was super easy to transition to because the preceptors and management of these units are extremely supportive and it was easy to get the hang of, especially working alone. she said it can be scary at times, but it's not always critical! mission hospital has an established reputation for its neuro department in orange county and overall didn't have a bad experience during her tips program. for me, I had an amazing time at mission and felt that the nurses were extremely supportive and the work culture was welcome. I only had psych clinicals at st joseph, so can't really compare the two hospitals.
  23. No, it's typically throughout the week. But who knows 😅
