  1. I am currently on probation with the BRN. I just renewed my RN license . I reported my conviction to the board on the form . However under the disciplinary section in error I choose NO. I realized my mistake after I submitted . I have contacted the BRN and my probation officer to correct this critical error . Does anyone know if that mistake will causes me issues with my probation and the BRN. I attached a document to my submission with attachment explaining the error. I have emailed the BRN and reached out to my probation office . This just happened last night. I am really worried I may get In trouble . Does anyone have an advice, I saw the error right away but not sure if that means anything . Thank you !
  2. What banned list ? Is it posted somewhere ? Thanks Has anyone gone several weeks without testing ? I am in my first year of probation and was testing around five times a month or more for the Fist five months . Recently I have only had to test once or twice month for the last two months . Is this because the testing is random ? Could my testing me increased again ? Thanks
  3. Does anyone know if the BRN will allow you to work in Hospice, while on probation with a restricted license for an RN? Thanks !!
  4. http://www.ocaddictiondoc.com/ He was able to perform my mental and physical examination.
  5. Hi I just emailed you .
  6. Hi if you want I can give you my email in case you have more questions. I just started my probation so I don't have a ton of information , but I can share with you what has happened so far for me in the first month .
  7. I currently do not drink anymore since my DUI . But as far as my case was concerned they mentioned that I am to abstain from any alcohol or mood altering drugs . I do have to have a physical and mental health exam performed by a medical doctor that's approve by the BRN, but I am still trying I find one. They said it would be up to the doctors recommendation if I need to get therapy but I have mandatory rehab for 6 month . I am also allowed to work but I need my position approved by BRN . Not sure if that is how it is with you.
  8. Kathy0805 Hi from what I was told the drug testing is random and I was told by my probation office that testing occurs on average 4 times a month but could be more and less over time . You have to log on to a website each day and see if you are required to take a test . For me the check in occurs from 5 am to 5pm. But I was told that I had until 11:59 pm to complete the exam . However each testing site varies on the hours that they are open and can test. I have only had one urine test so far and it occurred on the weekend. All the testing sites that were close to me were closed and I had to drive far to find one that was open . So I suggest once you have access to the list provided make sure to call on a weekday to locate a site that offers testing on the weekends and what hours they offer . I am also in CA, not sure if you will have the same rules or use the same website . But your probation officer will go into detail what is required of you. This was just my experience .
  9. Hi does anyone know of any approved doctors in the LA or Orange country area that has been approved by the BRN to do physical and mental health exams for those on probation . Thanks
  10. Can anyone recommend a mental health and physical evaluation doctor located near Orange County that would be approved by the BRN? Thanks !!
  11. I am wondering if anyone has any information on how to find an approved medical doctor and mental health doctor that is approved by the BRN for nurses who are on probation . I am in the Orange County area. Thanks
